I love the insanity that is modern TF2 servers. The meme language that exists using voice lines, killbinds, and camera turns is absolute gold. I love how almost anyone in the game is willing to have these interactions these days and willing to just drop whatever fight they were in the middle of to be a part of them. People used to get mad about friendlies, but now the game has been stewing in its own neglected, unupdated purgatory for so long while simultaneously still being one of the top ten games on Steam that the fanbase has mutated into its own complex ecosystem with its own culture and norms. It's like "What? You expect us to actually play the game at this point? We've done that already."
