Because in the attempt to look like a fresh install f2p, GeneralAlias employs a piece of tech that the average player is still unaware of: walking forward and shooting the closest enemy. I'm convinced half of the people in pubs would see better results with mindless aggression than whatever their current train of thought is.

deadass this is pretty much how i topscore in most of the casual matches i play. hyper-aggressive playstyle is fun as hell, partly because its hilarious to see what you can get away with, and partly because a *lot* of people just don't know how to deal with it lmfao

For a perfect example of this, go look up B4nny's video "Teaching casuals how to play with NO FEAR!" Man's playing Dustbowl on Attack, and he got his team of pubbies to roll the enemy defences just by shouting "no fear!" and urging them to push forwards. RED basically collapsed immediately from the constant collective aggression of BLU. Because that how IRL warfare operates. Morale is a huge factor in warfare, both for individual soldiers and for armies as a whole. If a soldier concludes that they cannot win a fight and retreats, their enemy wins. And if a whole army of soldiers conclude, individually, that they cannot win, the whole army will rout and the enemy army will win. War is a game of Chicken - whoever backs down, loses. But if an army is cohesive - if the soldiers within it trust their allies to support them in a fight, and respect their allies enough to support them back - then each individual soldier will feel much more confident, and will be more likely to stand their ground instead of retreat. Which is exactly what B4nny achieved. By giving a very basic order ("everyone push forwards as hard as possible"), B4nny convinced his "army" of BLU players that their comrades would support them as they pushed. While the RED players lacked this cohesion. And so each individual player decided to retreat instead of fighting. Which caused their whole team to rout, and their defence to collapse.
