Dane takes into account the random crits of the Stock Wrench, the only reason todos ever use it over the unlocks (well that and he is biased towards his Australium Wrench). Although honestly I am surprised that half of the B and C and even some of the A and S weapons didn't end in F tier, most notably the Stock Pistol, wich is completely outclassed by the Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol on Scout and is beyond garbage compared to the Wrangler and Short Circuit. The only reason I ever run it is a backup for when I stupidly decide to run the Widowmaker despite me being S* at aiming shotguns.

​@@M4x_P0w3r The only thing the stock can do better over the jag is deal with burst damage to your sentry, remove sappers on 2 hits and kill light classes in 2. Here's the thing though: The jag can heal at around the same rate as the stock thanks to its faster swing speed. If you can't get the sapper off with the jag in time, chances are you're not really gonna get it off with the stock either. If you're dealing with spies, why use your wrench? Use your primary. Even the rescue ranger does okay damage against spies. Or callout to your team with X+2

I think spy kind of has to be the weakest class in the game, and that’s not a bad thing. Having spy in the game adds a lot more to it, he’s not a full time class but teams throwing him in every so often makes the game so much more interesting. Imo spy’s POV is the most fun to watch in competitive games. If spy was anything above C tier he’d be broken and unfun.

@@Lerre True about the bulk, 100 health is literally nothing to any explosive weapon, but the Mini Sentry have a faster turn speed and rate of fire than the level one sentry and requires little investment. Plug n Play. Minis are often overlooked and hidden as well, being quieter and smaller. Honestly, if Valve didn't put the little light on top of it, it would be amazing as it makes it stick out like a sore thumb. I'd say it's amazing while wrangled too, but that's true for any sentry. Level 3 Sentries drop in 2-3 rockets, 2 stickies and 2-3 pills, with also being a massive target almost the same size as the Heavy and usually always become the prime target for ubercharge, minis can be overlooked or replaced with ease. Honestly, on a competitive level, Engineer isn't that viable, it's true, but there are alternatives for the class to change things up. I love the Mini Sentry.

Ya know now that I think about it it kind of speaks a lot about the weaknesses of pyro that he isn't as common a pick in 6s (as far as I know) considering 6s is usually comprised of all the things he wants to fight. I am a spy main, and I was about to get mad and click off when he put spy in C tier. But after I saw his argument, It actually makes sense. Spy does rely on the enemy team being un-aware. In any match where the enemy team is experienced, paranoid, or has been killed by spies multiple times could crush a spy main with 10k hours on spy.

I personally think the problem is that (considering B4nny was kinda basing a lot of stuff to competitive) demoman, scout, and soldier are all fast moving classes. Although, I dont watch comp a lot, spies are really only used to take out medics. Another arguement is that, sniper does everything better than spy but hes behind his team. Making an enemy paranoid can actually work in your favor. If you know some enemies are paranoid or prone to paranoia, they tend to become less effective as a player, as they'll spend more time out of action to make sure they dont get backstabbed or more actively spy checking then they previously would. While the spy himself cant really touch a player who's paranoid enough, as long as that player is distracted or at least cautious enough, it does leave them more open to your teammates. Plus a good spy can quickly change targets and make sure not to get one player too paranoid. Voice chat however may as well be a hard counter to spy, just moan:"ahhhh heavy theres a spy behind you" and suddenly the spy is dead. Well coordinated teams are really daunting to face as a spy but with enough skill, a good spy can still hamper the enemy enough to make an impact

Not only that but he's also quite a boring and frustrating class to play in highlander because of his flaws. You're forced to play like a paranoid schizophrenic that's scared to leave the comfort of his chokepoint, which honestly feels like the antithesis of what the Heavy should be.

for those of you are wondering why spy is at the very bottom tier list, remember, he's a 6v6 competitive player, a spy can't exactly fool the enemy team, when they have a straight communications to one another, and can't exactly fool anyone, in a casual matches, you can pretty much see spy anywhere as they please, but in a very competitive match, most players are already familiar with the feint de-cloaking sounds even with stock watch, so the amount of effort the spy has to put up in a competitive match is too great, where as other class can simply far do better and more efficiently

Spy being in C tier was an obvious conclusion. To unleash his full potential, he has to be really close to people. Being close equals the danger of being spotted and receiving a fuckton of damage right away, which is Spy is not that good at, especially since the Dead Ringer recieved a recharge nerf. Too little health, moderate mobility, insanely relying on luck and skill. Even if you're like the God of Ambassador, you will just get outdamaged because of a low health and shooting speed. Trickstabs are a possibility, but enemy can just deny any of your trickstab attempts by just not approaching you at all. Also, the Spy-cicle is not that good. You cant really escape as Spy after being spotted by more than one person, also, Pyro can just deny any your picks by melting your pick weapon. Potential of this weapon melts within everything.

Pyro is underrated though, pissed me off so much whenever I got an Übercharge and was subsequently air blasted to a terrifying drop; that I ended up becoming a pyro main, I also cannot recommend the flare gun enough, I have so much range, I can disintegrate snipers as soon as I see them, I can hang out with demomen, great gun and when you think about it; Pyro is just like Medic except the exact opposite. And yeah, Spy with Scout's speed and scattergun would be terrific, that's why The Big Earner belongs in "you win" it's way better than the conniver's kunai.

As an engi main, this video, class tier list wise, has me doing some reflection on how I play I do have more fun playing battle engi, letting the sentry deny mobility for scout, demo, and soldier, while still supporting the team and able to take care of myself to improve my performance, but I catch a lot of shit since my aimbot isn't as strong and generally more annoying I generally focus on keeping dispensers in good places out of lines of sight so my teammates can retreat, heal up, ammo up, and go straight back into the front lines, and I build them under protection from a mini sentry, since even a level one dispenser can save lives and provide counter attacks I don't really use teleporters, since once they are easily found, they are destroyed, but every so often I try giving the team a new angle to flank if I can So, as a semi competitive engi, I focus on area denial, 2 v 1s against enemies, and supporting the front lines while taking care of myself and my buildings to keep the fight gling

Yep... Engi in 6s is much differently played than in pubs or even highlander, in 6s you just build a sentry and nothing else. You don't repair it/give your life for it, when the sentry goes down, go back to whatever class you were originally

As a soldier main in pubs, it actually hurt me when he put katana at B It’s amazing if you pair it with the batalions backup to make yourself pretty much invincible, especially if you have a pocket medic, even better if he has the quick fix, i main medic in comp and the quick fix is the easiest S tier weapon I’ve seen in my life. It’s so overpowered if you know how to use it but you have to pay attention to the game

32:00 I get the Splendid Screen and Chargin’ Targe, BUT the Tide Turner is one of the most viable secondarys for Demoman. It basically gives him a burst of mobility that can chase down fleeing enemies or escape quickly. When paired with Claidheamh Mòr, it also gives Demoman the ability to trimp all over the entire map. @@Ubercentraltf2 Overdose helps you LIVE longer. The speed boost allows you to escape instead of dying like a moron trying to use Blutsauger in a 1v1. Blutsauger also reduces your passive healing so your overall survivability is lower. Overdose is significantly better for a serious medic.

Also, you have to have the blutsauger out AND be hitting an enemy to get the effect. Overdose always applies, regardless of enemies being present or not. Having the blutsauger equipped decreases your overall survivability at all times by crippling passive regen. That's why it sucks.

I main the classic on my sniper and it's such an underrated gun. Being able to kill a charging soldier or scout at close range is extremely useful. They usually expect you to be scoped in and not focusing, so they'll run in a straight line towards you for a clean headshot.

And a really good spy can just fuck a lot of people, you know the revolver? it's not that weak at all, 40-60 damage per shot close range to medium range when you can't commit for a backstab is pretty powerful. Maybe you can deal with the spy yourself but this is a team game, and when he is constantly killing your snipers/medics and harrassing your engies it's a pain.

The class tier list was spot on, but a good lump-sum of the weapons felt irrationally rated. For instance, in both competitive and pubs, how could you put the hot hand, baby face, steak, red tape, pomson, and gas passer all above the wrench and southern hospitality? Is it based off of how they do their job or strictly damage and utility? Yes the jag is essentially the wrench on crack, but the wrench is still one of engies best melee's.

The Jag is more to re-build faster, if you can't protect your buildings for too much time (or if you are playing offensive engie with normal sentry and you need to reposition the sentry very often).. Meanwhile, the Wrench helps you to become your sentry more "tanky" if you keep hiting it while taking damage, but build more slow so.. Is a better weapon if you want to make an "invincible" defense (or at least one with more durability).

@@DjensZooi Yea, in the end, It's all about personal preferences.. In my personal preference I use more the wrench, I think is more consistent and make the sentry more durable in combat (especially if there are no other allied engies near) .. But I like to use the Jag in case I want to play offensive engie (with normal sentry, like I sayed before) or if playing with other allies engies to help them to build and upgrade his "babys" faster. I like both.. But I use more the stock. Edit: I just forgotted all about the extra hit you need to.. Hit... To destroy zappers with the Jag.. That's another think to take into acount, and another thing why I use more often the wrench.. You lose minor time dealing with them so you can save more buildings.. More useful if dealing with multiple spies (or a single one very persistent and irritating).

There should've been E tier for meme weapons it's also worth mentioning that the direct hit completely outclasses the airstrike, because the airstrike gives away your position, making attacking from the air the worst way to use it despite it's stats, and does next to no damage without direct hits, whereas the DH will deal more damage from the same hit and allow you to be stealthy, the greatest advantage of the base jumper.
