Greetings! I'm now starting a new series about how to counter every class as Demoknight, but first I started with how to counter Demoknight as a Demoknight.

it's alot harder to dodge a charging demoknight than you think, I can pull off 100 degree swings mid charge, other demoknights can do the same.

Demoman’s range is very long, especially when he charges, his melee gets extended. It’s less about dodging and more about baiting his attack. Try to get closer to him than letting him get a full charge on you.

It is, but with some practice, you'll be able to dodge charges like nothing, 83% of the people that charge at me misses because of my dodging techniques

@@scumknight6074 fun fact, your melee range is extended if you swing before charging good luck timing that :)

@@scumknight6074 While it is true that his range is extended during the charge, said charge ends the instant the server registers an M1 click, then the damage boost is applied in form of mini- or full crits. If you want to extend your reach you need to swing first and then charge within a 0.2 second time window, but you won't get a damage boost and you will still fly forward.

tip vs spies : i saw videos about trickstab and i learned spies should be comfort while doing it so don't worry about having long fight also walk back so they won't reach your back taking advantage of melee range for bottleknights and demopans don't worry about getting hit cuz random crits would 1 shot the enemy so be brave and put in your brain that random crits aren't random but granted for you if those were helpful for channel owner try them out and you can put it in next videos

I have a Demoknight question! What are the right gamemodes and maps to play as Demoknight? (Other than Medieval Mode.) I mean, even if the Demoknight has some advantage over other melee classes, it's still a melee class that disuse standard Demoman genades and stickies that the game is balanced for. Because of that may give it some disadvantage against classes like Pyro or situations like sentries that regular demomen can easily dispatch. It's just there are maps I've played Demoknight only to feel impractical for the map and it's objective. A friend once told me a Demoknight has no place in a Highlander contest either.

He’s impractical because he’s a gimmick subclass. That’s the same as asking if there’s any viability in trolldier outside of Hightower. If you want to get the most out of demo knight, play koth maps. Most of the koth maps in the casual map pool are small and aren’t good for stickies so losing your shield isn’t as much of a game changer

KOTH is the obvious one. But you can have success on most maps if you play him like a spy/scout and flank; look for taking 1v1s on spit off targets. On defense he requires a bit more patience than you might be used to, he's really good for shutting down spys though. Also he's great for getting med picks with some practice, especially with the Persian Persuader; you can charge in through your team, get a pick, and 180 before charging out again.

You'd be surprised how powerful getting a charged melee minicrit can be in a 1v1,especially if you can bait the enemy to charge first and counter with your own

there also is the half zatoichi which is the best but also the worst one. you oneshot a half zatoichi wearer but you also get one shotted by them.if you are the one to hit first then you win. this one is better for more experinced or people with good reflexes that surpass the others.
