Even projectile aimbots that can lead shots don't make accuracy perfect since people can cause the program to overcompensate by air strafing. In the end, projectiles like rockets, pipes, and arrows are just too slow for a program that doesn't run on intuition and player experience to use perfectly.

And if you're thinking that he thinks the aimbot might be putting the reticle a bit under the enemy, that's still bullshit because it would vary upon distance and which class it is, so he'd constantly have to be inputting info into the aimbot client, not to mention a client of that scale would set of VAC and have him banned in the blink of an eye.

CRO/\/\BIE I looked up a video of a tf2 projectile aimbot, and it had a guy shooting moving bots with the huntsman even while not aiming at them (or ahead of them). I guess it works by sending some data to the servers that SAYS you hit the guy, instead of just affecting the client side

Air strafing is just a fundamental thing that a lot of people don't understand. To be fair, it DOESN'T make sense because it's just something that happens because of the in-game physics, so people don't follow exact instructions and insist on holding W anyway. People do get it, but most just give up because they think they don't really need it.

One time a year or so ago, I was on viaduct and there was a speed hacking heavy, never running out of ammo and constantly critting, who kept changing names so he wouldn't get kicked and just spawn camped the entire time, basically taking away fun from both teams who legit wanted to play. Me, on the other team, decided to just go huntsman sniper and just started blind-firing at one of the doorways from my spawn, since all classes generally have similar head levels. It just so happened that he ran through the doorway I was firing at, at mach 2 no less, and gets shot right in the head. He was running faster than the arrow I shot and ran right into it. I got a hat as a result of shooting him right in his Monoculus eye that he was wearing. He then accuses me of aimbotting with a huntsman, go figure. It didn't matter though because that shot made my day and nobody let that hacker forget it.

This actually requires lots of skill, star needs to be able to calculate the speed of the rocket, the speed of the falling person, and have these 2 thing make contact with each other, and he has to do it within seconds all the while avoiding other projectiles being shot at him. I salute you star.

Projectile travel time is a LOT of trial and error; I often go through periods were I will be addicted to one game at a time, the transition between the Huntsman and Minecraft bow and arrows was not fun.

They nerfed the rocket launchers so hard in this gamemode... they barely do dmg anymore. Melee weapons need to be nerfed -.- not rocketlaunchers. its annoying when a sniper hits me ONCE from 0% with the bushwacka and gets a crit i always die. same with scout and other classes. the direct hit just sucks now in sb if u cant airshot really damn well like star can. i rage always so hard when i hit like 5 airshots on a scout and the scout comes to me hits me once and i die.....

Every time I am about to get a kill some scrub shoots him with a hitscan weapon at the last moment and even though I don't really care about stats I care about top scoring so I feel acknowledged about the contribution I made while these kill stealers get all the points for absolutely nothing about 30% of the time and depending on what time sometimes kill stealers get all the points it's kinda annoying especially when you do things like a 360 market gardener pop them up then rocket jump and 420 blaze it and shit like that... And then your kill doesn't even count...

Dalton McBleh Well it dont gives a kind of "aimbot" for a RL but i saw one used a "Homing" mod. but its pretty easy i guess if someone really use it (i mean this guy i saw who used it was a Huntsman sniper and made random heatshots out of nowhere, and used the beggersbas where all 3 rockets hits 3 other people (next to this he used a crit mod....which was kind of lame...both mods...))

Apparently there's a projectile 'hack-aimbot' where the bullet basically 'spawns' right next to the target you want to shoot, preferably at the head.

Aimbots can be used for ballistics. The program knows the speed of the projectile it's firing, and can calculate the vektor of the target. See Tribes base turrets for proof of concept. They can be fooled by the ol' serpentine though.

exactly. You could use a bot to aim at a target. But if the target moves at all, the projectile aimbot becomes useless. Only thing i could see working somewhat would be close range huntsman. But a bot to hit with a launcher in these situations? Not possible.
