You think tf2 is abandoned? pff, play l4d2 and you going to know an abandoned game, 10 years, 10 GODDAM YEARS for fix a llitle bug who allows you to crash the server, AND there is a lot and i mean A LOT! of bugs un fixed, survivors falling in elevators, infected can stuck the elevators and the survivors can't go from that place, and a lot of thing about elevators, the hitboxes of the charger, jockey are broken and thats a problem when you fight versus them, tf2 have been updated a lot of times, and l4d2, 2012 whas his last big update """"BIG"""" a llitle big, because the only thing they added was the l4d1 campaing and cold stream, and cold stream is litteraly abandoned, l4d2 lasted 10 years without being update, tf2 was updated in 2017 or 18 i don't remember, i don't have more to say, but tf2 is more played because it is f2p and i like tf2 so much but is like with csgo they want 120 tick rate server and don't like 60 tick, tf2 got 60 tick and l4d2 30 tick and if you remove the lerp the game looks IUGH very laggy, but thats my opinion. And sorry if i whrite bad something, i speak spanish.

@@rsho3472 L4D2 wasn't supposed to be constantly updated and TF2 was, that's the difference. If we were to count all great games that could use an update we would have to recite valve's library almost entirely. Alien Swarm, Half-Life deathmatch source, Day of Defeat source just to name the few. And in a way situation of all those games is even better. At least we know that they have been thrown into attic, completely forgotten about, while TF2 live constantly in promise of care, lingering in limbo of hope. Most fans still hope for new contracts, new mvm content, comics confirmation, but i feel that this time it's over for good

@@Lachrymogenic yea the timelines are kinda wonky willy, portal takes place in 2010 and half life takes place anywhere between 2000 and 2009, and tf2 takes place in 1965, that means tf2 takes place around 45 years before portal and around 35 years before the half life. Which means I am to guess that after the events of tf2 (the comics) black Mesa did their thing. I am led to believe that half life and portal take place at the same time (2010) and maybe before. I'm not sure though

Remember that map in CS:GO, there we were fighting on a ship? I found this ship on one of the payload maps, (I forgot its name) But this ship in TF2 is longer and its not fully loaded with stuff. Maybe CSGO ship is a "son" of TF2 ship, since TF2 battles is in a 80-90 and CS:GO operations (not that donate ticket operations, just a normal defusing scenario) is way after, maybe somewhere in 2010-2020. So, maybe TF2 and CS:GO in one timeline?
