I don't think Star would ever use it except for a video maybe. It makes you slower and a more vulnerable target in the air so you're practically asking to get shot at. I personally believe that once you get the hang of Market Gardening, it's a lot faster and deadlier.

Martin Johnson I think most things are viable weapons when given the proper attributes, but in their raw forms I feel like those kinds of stickybombs are unnecessary (there's no reason to wait to detonate them unless you want the person to walk near their teammates and blow them all up, and with that being said it'd be really easy to grief with it by having a friend covered in bombs run at everyone) and bouncy bombs would just be spam hell.

The Tide Turner is absolutely ridiculous. There are way too many Demoknights right now, and the Turner just adds insta-turning to a charge, and instantly recharges it on a kill, making for lots of cheap kills that you can't avoid, and Demoknights can single handedly take down lots of guys if they use the Half-Zatoichi, gaining all their health back in addition to their typical charge. To some, it may be different, and I repsect your opinion, but it's a troll move if you ask me.

I was on Turbine, went from the health pack on one side of the room to the stairs on the complete opposite and cut down a spy I saw go into cloak five seconds ago in a single swing. The freedom of charging, so good. I still kind of miss the increased durability of the Charge 'n Targe and the no afterburn, but the charge though. Taking any other shield over the Tide Turner right now is like taking the default knife over the spycicle. You can make it work, but in most situations, it's better to have the weapon with the greater amount of benefits.

Honestly, I think the Tide Turner should be balanced in a way that also makes the booties Viable. Let's take a solid look; each shield has a significant buff; Chargin' Targe - Afterburn Immunity Splendid Screen - Shield Bash buff on collecting Heads. Tide Turner - Ability to charge again on kill. If they took the perfect turn control, and applied it to the Booties and the Bootlegger; that would massively change the Demoknight playstyle. As it would result in the following; 1. Without the booties, all Shields would go in straight lines. 2. In order to get full turn control, you'd have to go Melee Exclusive. 3. Melee Demos would be strong, but they would be only Melee. And there are lots of counters to this. 4. No more Loch n Load/Tide Turner/Eyelander combination for a broken advantage. Users of this could only charge straight, so they'd need skill to actually use this. This would also likely make the other shields more commonly used; since they'd all be equal on the playing field.

The problem with that is that demoknight was still effective. All the recent changes to demo turning was make it so people with bad computers could turn like everyone else. Also, name another class that is viable and based on the melee weapon. Your list starts and ends with spy.

His grenade launcher and his sword were both kill streak. In the feed the kill streaks from separate weapons are counted separately, but they both pool together to count your actual amount.

I would've had a demoman sword called the "Reaper's Rapier", where killing in non-charge DOES give you all your charge back, but the weapon would have -20% damage, or something. (Which makes sense, since using a rapier as a sword is obviously inaffective, but the demoman is already known for using certain weapons the way they shouldn't be used, see the caber)

John Hampson Yeah, one of the monster bread items you can get in the Bread Box. (limited time craft item using three hats, some come out Strange) It's a big metal ring the Spy holds with a wiggling Bread monster held in the center. It snaps and roars as you hold it. Looks kinda cool when applied to a building though.

Olly Pellatt This is sadly true. Splendid Screen was better than Chargin' Targe, Chargin' Targe got buffed, which to me made it better for killing pyros soldiers, and demos. And now this comes out and is better than both

You have to remember that you are a lot less likely to get shield kills without the 70% bonus damage you get from the splendid screen.it's good but it's all about manouverability instead of the splendid screens mainly just for power.

No back scatter isnt op. I annihilated most scouts when they were using it, since it's negative attribute of decreased accuracy is a huge downside. Stock scattergun is actually alot better than it, since it is most consistent.
