Mini sentries have been on the rampage lately. Its common to see a few every now and again but frick I got on a pub yesterday and there were 4 of them on the other team. Nvm all of the others i've seen lately. Its like all the engie players out there have decided collectively to forget about level 3s and just spam the ever living crap out of minis. The only level 3 I even saw today was one I built.

lol, I wish I recorded it but a few months back I was on a server that was really chill, and I told all of my team to go mini sentry engi, and all of them did exactly that except 2 players, on a 12 player team. We pushed the payload constantly, always with at least 1 person on it at all times.

Sickle Pickle No, he didn't. Jerma kept rushing past the enemy spawn. If he didn't overextend far into enemy territory and played smarter, he would've been able to contribute more to his team. Jerma also wasn't paying attention in this commentary. The mini sentries were audible but he likely didn't hear them because of the commentary and he kept running around corners at mach speed, which got him caught like a deer in the headlights every time. And even then he managed to destroy the mini sentries. Engineer is Scout's one and only counter by design. The sentry gun is designed to force Scouts to play more passively and intelligently. You're not entitled to free roam of the entire map.

LenChewbacca I do play with viewmodels off, but I never considered non-amby weapons to be very obstructive in their reload animation. Auto-reload just always seemed like the most optimal thing to have on since the reloading animations can always be interrupted.

Reloading is part of the fun... If I were playing dead serious, I'd probably turn auto on, but it's just satisfying for me to roll my mousewheel up and reload my weapon. Also I'm pretty sure it auto-reloads anyway if you empty a clip.

Engies are fun to play as IF you know how to use something else other then your sentries.The short circuit can really help if the enemy consistis of demos and soldiers, the pistol can be a great help at long distance and the shotgun can easily kill a unsuspecting heavy, if point at the right place. It just so happens that most engies rather... well, sit on last and "whack their junk"

At 1:59 That Soldier was ME. I remember because he's wearing the sleeves of the Tin Soldier set (which somebody gave to me for free which was really nice) and I was using The Original because I remember crafting it myself. I also remember being really bad at this game!
