What is name of the gaff and where did u buy it thanks

It is a daiwa pole with a screw on gaff. I bought it in a local tackle shop in Madeira.

Hi.. nice catch.. pls may i know the model of the reel that you are using and how many pounds of line? Thank you

Thank you! In this video I use a Daiwa Certate LT 5000. It works fine but I swapped it now for a Certate SW 6000. Works perfectly with the sonio.

Enjoyed the video! Congrats 👏 My question is how do you research and choose where to go fishing in a foreign country? And, the second is why you decided to fish from cliff where it is dangerous to pull up the fish?
@thefishingcouple2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Usually we look for interesting depths on navionics and check the coastal contours with google earth. The cliff is the spot where the fish are. It is very deep close to shore, so the chances are better to encounter big fish.

@@thefishingcouple thanks for the insights. I learned something new 😀. And you're right, on the hard reachable places are the best fishes, otherwise everyone would be catching nice examples. Cheers!

@thefishingcouple2 жыл бұрын
@@dinkobilic9078 i think PE is more than sufficient, especially with a smaller reel like we use. PE 2 also casts a lot better and further in my opinion 🤙🏻

Hello friend.Do you have good balance with this reel and rod?What is the best jig and plug match for this setup you think?
@thefishingcouple Жыл бұрын
I really liked it, but have changed to a Saltiga 3500 now. I also am eyeing a Certate SW6000 for the future. However all of the above will be fine for the Sonio. Sweet Spot of the Rod is 60g Jigs and Plugs around 40-50g (like Maria LegatoF165)

Geil er Drill und Fisch. Respekt. 👌 Fähre diesem Sommer auch nach Kroatien und will natürlich das shore jigging ausprobieren. Kannst du mir vielleicht verraten, wo du das lange Gaff her hast?
@thefishingcouple Жыл бұрын
Vielen Dank!
