Flew with Ethiopian Airlines from Bkk to Mxp via Fco.. Everything is good but I booked economy just feel better to book Business as the price almost the same. But the food was soooo goodddd and smooth landing just love everything five star ⭐️ for ET

Wow, so much (background) information, I absolutely LOVE IT!!!! From the airlines’ history, airport, lounge,seats….you have everything in there. We just flew the ETs A350 with the Optima seats in business class from Addis to Abuja. This was after our flight from Joburg to Addis. It was really nice. We had bulkhead centre seats in row 1. Great for the bassinet for our baby. Ethiopian's service was great and the food was awesome.

I loved this review. Firstly... it was a real eye opener to see that Ethiopian has the second largest number of destinations. And I never knew about the written language of Ethiopia of which I understand nothing but appears quite pleasant to look at. Regarding the seat... most of my business class travel was done before lie-flat seats became the norm. I could never really get comfortable in a seat with any pitch and would thus find floor space around me and lie flat. I would be more than happy with the tiny cubby hole...

Yeah, personally I almost never sleep laying flat when flying (unless its SQ or JL) so for me the little cubby is fine also, but for someone my height (182) lying down, it would be very tough. Thanks for watching & Happy New Year 🎉

I think Ethiopian actually has direct aisle access for their new a350s i feel like their hard product is too inconsistent for it to be truly great

I see that there are some rumours of Lufthansa sniffing around ITA. Italian style and Teutonic efficiency - or vice versa? Ethiopian? It's certainly racking-up a number of very good reviews. And yeah - I always FF through the spool-ups! Nice review.

Well, I mean… ITA have been practically begging Lufthansa for a takeover and (I think) the government essentially ruled out AF/KL/DL who seemed to be winning by not allowing a consortium to take the airline over… or something like that. Get ready for Eurowings Italia I suppose 😅

just one correction. we ethiopians do not have a liberation date rather we have a victory day. No nation has colonised ethiopia. It is the only black nation on earth remained free from its creation. Having say this, I like your geniune review on ethiopian air lines. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

There was no time in history that Ethiopia was colonized or liberated . The 5 years ( 1936-1941) during which Italy has attempted for the second time to defeat Ethiopia was faced by strong armed resistance which finally ended up in victory during the end of the second world war, crumbling of the fascist regime and assassination of Mussolini himself in Rome.

Hey Kevin. I want to say, I really enjoy watching flight review videos and have really enjoyed watching yours. I've watched all now since your start. I'll also watch your hotel and resort reviews should we travel to where you've been in the future. I'm a mental health and substance use outreach nurse, and well, this week has probably been one of the most trying of my career. How I choose the hotels I have a post on Patreon going into the nitty gritty. As for choosing the destination in general, it usually begins with one really good value or highly desirable flight and I build the itinerary around it. I have a 10 country 35 day trip coming up soon which all began with a $577 Business Class flight on Philippine Airlines from KUL-MNL-SYD which I bought 11 months out. The rest all ‘fell into place’ 😅

British airways doesn't have a lounge for business class. You use another in Roma which is dark dank and crap. It's may be the ita lounge. I did appreciate the design of fumancino and also they have a smoking room when you touch down in arrivals. So odd!!

I'm a bit bewildered at the moment lol. I was on the flight, I have the menu, I certainly didn't have a second meal service- but it honestly didn't occur to me something was missing until you mentioned it now 😫 I didn't properly sleep on the flight, but perhaps I dozed off and rather than a full service they just went around offering it like a snack...? ADD is a Hot and High airport (warm climate & high altitude) which means that SYD and MEL nonstop would be absolutely out of the question with a full payload. They might be able to make it to PER which is just about the same distance as their furthest destination GRU, but there might just not be a business case for a connection to PER. Perhaps they’ll have an Australian tag on from BKK or SIN in the future but from Australia to BKK to ADD is not an efficient routing to just about anywhere.

Not everyone watch videos through a PC device; hence no access to the description. I watch it though my smart tv and it doesn’t show descriptions. PLEASE ADD IMPORTANT INFORMATION SUCHA AS FARES TO THE VIDEO. I truly dislike when the content creator leave important information as homework for the viewer.

Your frustration is misdirected. KZbin could change the entire system tomorrow if they’d like to. The lack of access to descriptions is the fault of the platform, not the creator. I cannot speak for other creators, but I have very specific reasons for what I include in the video, what I include in the description and what I don’t include at all. I wish they’d make the TV format much better as well, but until then, you’re screaming at the wrong guy.
