Fantastic review! You and Kase got this content nailed! You did not baby them. You did R/W testing and that is exactly what viewers love about TFL! Makes me want to buy one. Hard to argue a review when you know if it is good or not from their perspective. Thanks for this!

Great review, the walk around is thorough. I’ve seen other reviews, and they don’t even mention the back seats. Also, the driving incorporates slow and fast driving, showing how the machine performs on different terrain. Lots of info being put out there. Well Done!

Finally people are waking up. Moved to Canada in 2012 and instantly noticed they were poorly made. Everyone was buying 30k RZRs and i was laughing. Then i worked for Polaris in the shop. I have built engines, transmissions replaced diffs,clutches, powersteering modules, fuel senders, wheel bearings , stereos you name it. All destroyed junk . Meanwhile i bought a Yamaha grizzly and it lasted 5 years till i traded it for another Grizzly lol. Ill definitely get an RMax because i patiently stayed away from that Garbage.
@JohnnyRebKy
@JohnnyRebKy 4 жыл бұрын
@@gwood701 oh I knew they was junk 20 years ago. I decided to give them a chance in 2016 thinking maybe they changed. Nope same old thing. Brand new sportsman with a sloppy gearbox. It clanked and clunked all the time . I got rid of it before it failed . The 2 I had back in 99 and 2002 both died of gear box failure . 2016 was the same old sloppy made machine they had 20 years ago . So never again for me. I never had a Japanese machine with slop in the drivetrain before nor did they clank and clunk all the time

@@mojoalan the Kawasaki Teryx 4 is likely what I will buy next. I don't give a damn how fast it is. They are a tank in the woods and rough mountain trails. They are built robust and solid. That's what matters to me. The 800 V Twin has more than enough power for me. Plus I crawl through the woods and up the trails in low range most the time anyway.

Four seat for me is the way to go. Cant beat Yamaha. Been a long time Yamaha owner and they just last!! Can’t wait to have this addition. I just don’t know why all you reviewers don’t spend time showing off the adventure pro. Either it’s a half baked product which is junk and Yamaha knows it or what you did show is all it does which is sad. I’m hoping it does more. In Canada we do not get the LE model, just the XTR AND it doesn’t come with the adventure pro. To add it in, it’s a $2,000 RETAIL option which is CRAZY! For that money it better have some impressive features.

The RMax is quit a bit higher in price for approximately only 30 more ponies. Much heavy for sure. And able to haul the same amount the X2 850 can haul. $8,000 difference in price. I'd love to have one but I'll keep my X2 and just upgrade my base model shocks and put bigger tires& wheels on it , and maybe even a sheeve job. I'll still have lots of money left over.

Only thing I wish these manufacturers changed was the measly warranty coverage. We gonna be spending nearly 30k on almost any 4 seater SXS and except for the Teryx 4….. which has a 3 year warranty, they all I think only give you 6months on these… oh but the belt is good for 10 years, the cheapest thing to replace… so if you break something 20hrs in but it’s beyond the 6 months you r done. Many of us might ride just 5-6x a year at best.

Funny how polaris sells such a crap product and people buy them and droves and then when they get raped for repairs they still defend them

@@dickfacepeterson curious why you said raped for repairs in all reality if you know how to drive a sxs in any terrain and have a basic mechanical understanding you should be able to fix anything that brakes I have owned a 2017 Polaris general since brand new I literally drove it off the showroom floor since then I have put on 5000 miles on it and the only thing that has needed “repaired” is brakes and oil changes and belts which I would consider a wear part and I have a group of people in total 30 plus machines with a mix of everything and I still have one of if not the most reliable machine, it has repeatedly started in -40 degree weather. I had a can am maverick before it and it was a good machine but every other ride I was wrenching on it. Do you have any experience with sxs or atv? If so what do you own?

Now they need to fix the YXZ. The front end look stupid and is terrible for muddy hill climbing. I’m so tired of waiting for Yamaha to get with the times.

Do we know who designed and built the motor? Hopefully not another “708cc” science experiment. Do we know if it’s a Yamaha design and build?
@MassiveOverkill

It is Yamaha designed and built and they've improved on the 847 cc engine if you can believe that.

Cool! How did you come by that confirmation for the 999 and 847? It wasn’t easily known during the days of the 708. Cheers.
