A life of teaching good time Charlie ro high school vocalists as a great song for harmony, emotion and story. Thank you Danny O’Keef

I've been practicing Good Time Charlie all day, and now I come across your comment 😊 I wish I had the opportunity to take vocal lessons in high school (well, really grade school). I'm 59 now. Trying to get the nerve to go sing karaoke.

Still has that remarkable beautiful voice and playing.Helped me through the 70’s for sure.

I’m impressed that he stood, played his guitar very well, sang soulfully and on key and told stories for longer than I can just stand……Danny has the voice I always wished I had.

What a beautiful man started listening to Danny in the 70s. Now in 75 and giving thanks for this beautiful man's music in my soul you help make it more compassionate and wise. And yes. Someday someday soon love is going to change the way of the world!!! Thanks brother. love from Tom in Sedona

Saw him sing "Good Time Charlie" and more in support of Rod Stewart and Deep Purple at the Spectrum in Philly winter '71. Great performer and song, then and now.

There's another to love, Jesse Winchester, I spoke to him several times over the years, we talked about melodies, he mentioned that Danny was out playing here and there.

I only knew of Danny through Goodtime Charlie and The Road, which hinted at his ability to write richly poignant songs. This show brings that ability into full focus. Thank you so much for making it available to us mortals.

Completely lost track of this brilliant artist, so many years, searched for a snatch of lyrics, a rainbow, cup of coffee.... so happy I could enjoy this performance, and how he's still 'him', but in the future. :)

does anyone know what type of collings that is? (and is it indeed a collings?) ... I'm guessing it might be a custom shop product given the statue of the artist and the unique "paw print" fret markers
