Hello. My TG curve has an initial increase (upto 110%) before it forms the normal curve. What could be the possible solution?

That would be most likely a bad run. Make sure you have enough sample for the resolution of the thermobalance

This is mainly because of the buoyancy effect of the gas purge around the crucible. You should run a blank crucible and then subtract it from your sample data. That would resolve it!
