The Presence of the ASD will accelerate the LV deconditioning and the presence of the VSD will delay the deconditioning. The question here is: what about if the VSD is Small in size: can it delay LV deconditioning ?

LV conditioning depends on pressure and/or volume load. So if the VSD is small (not causing enough pressure and volume load for the LV), LV can still decondition. This is obviously in addition to other factors like LVOTO, size of ASD, size of PDA,...etc
