also i think it's kinda implied in the novel (spoilers too btw) that he xuan was the "disguised" hua cheng who hit shi qingxuan to give him some spiritual energy. and the "disguised" beggar who ate a lot with the rest of the beggars (and shi qingxuan) at the end of the novel. so yes, if that info makes the beefleaf lovers (including me) feel any better 😭
