You unintentionally just gave me a silly fic idea of imagining he xuan saw his late fiance in SQX, especially his female form, and that also gave him another reason of "testing" SQX. However, he soon came to that SQX isn't his past fiance, and it just adds a little extra oomph to the angsty parallelism that is beefleaf since one of the test he xuan gave SQX was to call him by his actual name and not ming yi. I love how I said silly when really it's just hurting my own heart haha... Im still not okay from black water arc.

This is both beautiful and painful, my poor heart has whiplash. These two are my favorite ship outside of the main pair of course. Their story is so damn tragic, they deserved happiness together. It He Xuan clearly grew to care deeply for Shi Qingxuan and of course Shi Qingxuan cared deeply for him even if their bond was formed behind a disguise. I'm sure that if it weren't for Black Water deciding to go full on with his plan of revenge then Shi Qingxuan would've ended up accepting him once he learned the truth. Context can make or brake a reveal like that and with the Wind Masters personality and in the scene itself it was clear that he didn't want to believe that his friend would ever hurt him. Even if their relationship was built off a lie the care that came from it was real. I wish they could've just been happy together like they deserved. I can't really remember whether or not gods and ghost can reincarnate in their world but whether they can or not I still can help but hope that they will be and will finally be given a chance to be happy together.
