As a car fan on GTA the reason we meet up at outdoor places like car shops or the docks for instance is the scenery, ability to lineup cars the way we want, & adds a layer of RP (role play) with the realistic feel of a car show outdoors. That’s at least y me & my friends do meetups @ places other than the LS Car Meet

yup, I join private car meets quite a bit and LSCM isn’t very fun to be at, it’s very limited in what you can do and takes away the RP aspect like you said, plus most of the time we’re driving up on the highway

So FYI, if you ever wondered why NPCs go out of their way to hit you it’s a loading mechanism. Going back to GTA 3 the game uses cars as a way to process loading. It’s designed to slow you down to load content. Whenever you load a vehicle or when a car spawns for a chase or mission start notice how the NPCs will go out of their way to make contact with you.

It baffles me after all this time that people think it’s unintentional or I’ve had people try to argue it wasn’t in the game until vehicle sell missions. I refer them back to when the game came out, Tow trucks do some nasty sliding to hit you in story

Definitely had clip #39 happen A LOT back in the day. The mission is an MC Steal Supplies mission where you have to melee The Lost in Tequi-la-la to find the supplies you're after. But certain NPCs who get spooked will grab your vehicle and rush off with it. I had my Frogger stolen so many times because of that...

Fun fact the buzzard is actualy weeker than the sparow in the game files but because the buzzard has no suspention in the landing gear it almost always takes damadge when landing which makes it seem more fragile

8:46 on closer inspection, it looks like that railgun shot hit the left vertical stabiliser of the Lazer, after a second of lag the shot was registered as a hit and the Lazer explodes

The death planes are in game on specific out of bounds glitches to prevent you from getting to other game assets that are below the map. I believe that particular location is the character creation area.

The reason us car meet guys don't use the LS car meet is usually because we enjoy driving from one spot to the next to get photos and video edits. It's more for the sake of experience, however, if you're actually a good car meet host, you'll have curated who gets to join an invite only session for a meet in advance, you don't normally do public lobby car meets because that's just asking for trouble

That 3rd clip, the rocket boost from the bike launched the guy that was on fire into the casino door. That's why there was a short delay while the animation of him standing up played before he triggered the entrance cutscene.

26:17 The NPC gun going off upon death is actually a very accurate animation. When a person died in an instant (the way we kill most NPCs in GTA) the muscles in the body contract. Although it doesn't happen that fast in reality but I personally think this very biological factor is the reason that animation exists in there.

9:10 - Wow, LSPD really did go a bit overboard on this one, but... this is why I always park the bike right beside the trunk, pointing at the ramp for a quick escape. Once you come off the ramp just stick to alleys until the heat dies down, works every time. 22:35 - I learned 2 things about traffic. 1) If being chased (for instance while doing an extra parts sell mission for the bunker), and you look back while your pursuers are close enough, they will actually get a huge speed boost and ram your vehicle (if they're fast enough/you're slow enough). It happens just about every time. 2) However, if they get close and you literally just start weaving left and right in the lanes (not while looking back), they will never hit you, nor pull up alongside you. They may still shoot at you, but usually not to any effect. Idk if this is common knowledge or not, but I've found it useful lately. 26:37 - Literal Carmageddon. 32:37 - That's just insane.
