One thing you gotta remember is that all of the competent soldiers were killed by Rimuru in the Tempest Invasion, so at best the soldiers he sent for the attack are reservist who couldnt make the cut for the Tempest invasion and at worst nobles reject sons who hold no value to their familys anymore and if they live or die doesnt matter, so thats why the "Commander" kept asking Gregory for instructions since he has never had any position of authority or had to command anyone

true dragon of Ice Velzard and Blanc the White Demon Primordial are different people. For primordial demon we have met: Red, Black, Green, Blue and purple in the movie. We haven’t met the other two yet. For true dragons we have only met Veldora and Velzard. And only a mention of the eldest brother being Milim’s dad.

True Dragon can be considered a term for a race or similar individuals. If it a race then there'r 4 true Dragon: Veldanava, velzard, velgrynd and veldora. For those who are actually confused about the Term "Demon": There are actually 2 types of the term "Demon". One that is spread thanks to Cristianity and one more realistic version. The first we all know and see everywhere used( Evil looking Horns and wings) but even back then they were referring to humans. To be precise people that had strong beliefs for a "local deity"(gods like Odin,Thor etc). These gods were referred to as "Demon". Both are present in Tensura and are both called Demon. However there is a race called Demon that is more like the first version(Evil, Horns, Wings) and then there are things like a demon lord which is more like the second version(a "local deity of some sort").

When Diablo says he never lost he is not joking ... his worst is ending in a Draw with Rouge (Guy) ... when they both still lived in the Daemon spiritual plane .... Thats why he was so shaken up about the potential of his plans failing in the meeting ... he never really had to deal with abject failure .... Normally Daemons are vulnerable to natural phenomenon, not produced directly through Magic .... so things like Natural Lightning create by imbalance between charges in the air ... Rimurus Laser Beams ... but Diablo does not have that weakness .... so the hunters are not wrong in what they are doing if Diablo was still an Archdaemon that attack would have been effective on him through less than any other Archdaemon that is not very ancient ... So diablo when he was just summoned by Rimuru would not be defeated but suffer damage from the lightning attack. Also Saare if it was before being named and evolving ... ia when he was just summoned would actually make Diablo get Serious ....thats how powerful that "kid" is. second only to Hinata ... he not long ago overpowered Roy the stand in Demon Lord in their last battle ... He us near the level of incomplete Saint like Hinata As stated the East Daemon activity is much more common so they have a lot more recent and direct knowledge than the West ... including around 20 years ago an incident called the Bloody Shore Incident / Lake Shore dyed Scarlet incident ... caused by the Primordial Blanc ...... As stated Daemons are strictly Hierarchical ... so if they are aware of rank difference they will never address a higher rank Daemon without deference ... even if its of a different color ... ie Berretta way of speaking to Guy during Walpurgis ... in the episode with Black and Shizu end of S1, the Daemon did not realize who Black was so he did not do this. Which is why when diablo way of talking about the other Primordials amounts to: "My buddy Red and that one Blanc over there" it clues the Hunter from the east immediately that something is wrong and its not hard with all their knowledge to figure out what is going on .... ending with Razen 2.0 - as they say in such cases Ignorance truly is Bliss about the 2000 years mentioned by Diablo.... Daemons have a maximum capacity and their natural evolution stops at Archdaemon ...If a demon is defeated ie killed in a fight while as spiritual being they will reconstitute themselves after some time but they loose part of that capacity - loose to much and you wont be able to get enough energy to break through the Archdaemon barrier ... In addition the spiritual plain they live in is a constant battlefield for the most part .... so what Diablo is describing is Stay undefeated until you reach your max capacity and then carry on that streak for a minimum of 2000 years until the conditions to break to the next evolution present themselves ... ..... easy rights ':) Daemon Lord or as previously called is Demon Peer ... is a rank similar to an awakened Demon Lord .... thats why the East guy faints ... through Saare only knows limited information about it ... ie surpass Demon Lords ... this refers to Demon Lords that were not awakened .... so Clayman, Frey, Carlion, Roy Valentine .... The reason Ranga is so poweful is because he is always sleeping in Rimurus Shadow being Bathed in Rimurus magicules ... which makes him stronger over time ... In the Novel Grigori is in Rangas mouth and Ranga keeps shaking him ... to wake him up so he can play some more ..... '':D Poor Grigori will after this become known as the Cynophobic Saint >D In the novel we get to see a bit more of the east knowhow on Deamons During the scene with the Easter Merchant Damara at the start as he goes through things like Daemon Classification and summoning and the like Daemons become more powerful the longer they live, while their natural raw power limit is similar as Archdaemons ... they are then distinguished by the time they lived ... resulting in humans dividing them into categories relevant to this: Late Modern - Greater Deamons and Archdeamons that lived up to 30 years the most likely of the more powerful deamons to be summoned. .. Modern - 30-100 years more powerful because of the additional time to accumulate skills and mastery .... Mostly their rank would be A ... but can sometimes barely reach Special A rank threath Early Modern ... 100-400 years much more powerful thanks to the time they lived and remained undefeated ... ranked Special A threath possibly pushing higher Medieval 400 - 1000 years we are taking being powerful enough to serve as a Demon Lords Aide (right hand) ... genuine Calamity level danger This is the the recorded maximum Humans were able to summon .... Which makes sense as anything stronger would end up with the summoners soul being consumed almost immediately ... as we see in the last Episode of S1, summoning Black results in the the womans soul being consumed by him ... You need Hero class summoner to make an Archdaemon do their bidding ... Razen was evaluated as such a person meaning if the Daemon defeated him he must be above Medieval ... Acient 1000 - aprox 3000 years Pre-Historic 3000 < x years ... we are talking close to awakened Demon Lord without an Ultimate level danger here ... we are talking being that would need The 10 Great Saints could put up a decent fight and defeat them in a pair .... Saare could Solo one Primodials .... creation of the world ..... yeah screw that ... close to Octagram level beings to even stand a chance .... and that while still bein Archdaemons .... Saare would probably get one to get serious for a bit ... Hinata could put up a fight maybe possibly even win under correct circumstances ... ... if they break through to Daemon Lord .... Yeah even some members of the Octagram would struggle here ... True Dragon Level only certain way to defeat them ... Benimaru or Shion or Hinata could get them to take the fight Serious ... but low chances to win ....
