Veldora said it himself that because they share the same last name so they are kind like family. It is sins. Rimuru is Gluttony (Ultimate Skill: Beelzebub). Mariabel is Greed. It was never specified but you already met the users of Ultimate Skills of the rest of the 7 sins: Pride, Envy, Lust, Sloth, and Wrath. But just so you still get to be surprised I wont tell who are those.

not all of them are awakened some of them aren't even demon lord seeds Dagruel, Ramiris and Leon can't obtain a seed due to their holy nature that doesn't mean they aren't as strong as a True Demon Lord (except ramiris in her small form) just that they aren't awakened and can never become awakened

The truth is that Diablo is stronger than Rimuru at this point. maybe he just lost to Veldora Diablo defeats enemies with superior experience. something that Raphael would have to evolve into Manas to equal or surpass… perhaps

Correct. Currently rimuru is weaker than luminous but diablo is stronger than luminous in fact some of weaker unnamed primordials are already stronger than luminous like carrera and testerossa and not only was diablo stronger than them when he was unnamed but his power got a significant boost after he got named. In terms of magic knowledge he is second to rimuru in tempest. His ability to break down skill and discern different types of magic is probably the most impressive in the series considering he is the only character in the series that doesnt have any type of skill to help him break down skills and magic. Literally every obsurd shit he does was shit he taught himself unlike rimuru who does damn near everything he does because of raphael.

Diablo almost defeated Zelanus if Zegion didn't intervene xD the power gap is clear but it's impossible to win against an experienced Diablo Diablo's 6,666,666 points I think are fake even though it hasn't been confirmed. Diablo tricked Ciel when testing his strength, I think the exact number could be 10 million or 20 million more. I bet that by vol 21 Diablo can compete fairly with True Dragon even though he may not win

Spoiler: Rimuru - lord of gluttony, Beelzabuth Milim - lord of wrath, Satanal Luminous - lord of lust, Asmodeus Guy - lord of pride, Lucifer Yuuki - lord of greed, Mammon Dino - lord of sloth, Belphagur Velzard - lord of envy, Leviathon (might just be WN not 100%) ^ Those are the main 7 sins. However, there are other sins that pop up as well such as: Diablo - lord of temptation, Azazel The others I can't remember the exact name of the top of my head

The one complain I have is about one thing the anime took from the manga, in spite of the novel version ... And that is Rimuru just putting Hinata on the ground and walking away leaving her to die ... which is completely at odds with his character and what he stated at the start of the episode that he will not let Hinata die ... (that said the anime version is a tiny bit better then the manga ... rare to say but still bad) and its not like you could not make it work .... In the novel Rimuru tries to give Hinata an artificial heart like he did with Mjuranin s2 but it does not work well ...so you could do that and have a line of Rimurus thoughts like "need to finish this while it still works" Or alternatively ... as the smoke of Trinity Disintegration clears have Rimuru make a shocked face, lover Hinata to the ground and then with a furious expression start moving towards the geezers - to imply Hinata actually died there ... That said I prefer the Novel version where does not move from Hinata ... as they just dont even warrant him getting up outside of blocking their attacks .... In the novel he is focused on saving Hinata as he stated and as is inline with his character .... holding her all the way until she regained consciousness. As for the scuffle between, while no real details are given the novel just states it was ) a battle that was nothing short of breathtaking - and - they fought over such a large area Rimuru could not say id there were outside casualties. Anyone who had see Limunous ferocious attack would be just as flummoxed as Arnaud - with one crusader remarking "I can see how Lady Hinata was defeated" and another about Luminous "She doe not call herself a god for show" This is the one thing I think the Anime could have expanded on for a bit ...

It's not that Diablo is stronger than Rimuru, but more like Diablo has more experience in these high level battles than Rimuru. Rimuru can deal with these but he just lacks the experience to know which of his abilities to use so he needed Raphael. Diablo on the other hand has thousands of years of experience. At this moment, if we just go in terms of how much Energy both of them have, Rimuru easily has way more than Diablo.

I read the novel and yes, at this point in the story diablo is not only stronger than rimuru but he is also stronger than luminous who herself is stronger than rimuru at this point so they were indeed right. Diablo doesnt have any special defensive ultimate skills like rimuru has so he literally tanked that trinity attack with his bare body without injury which was explained in the novel. Even ultima while being unnamed is close in power to luminous who is currently stronger than rimuru and diablo is far stronger than ultima. He is the second strongest primordial devil.
