Very informative.... diagnosed with Graves so I know I’m T1 dominant but also know that it goes back to leaky gut due to over use of antibiotics. Got the gut healed, got rid of gluten and dairy and almost all of my symptoms have disappeared

I have a TH1 dominance which was found in my exploration into my recurrent miscarriages. Aside from taking immunosuppressive medication, how else could I treat this so I can maintain a pregnancy?
@renouf264 жыл бұрын
The supplements that boost TH1 also work on infections/gut pathogens though.. so it is in some cases addressing the root cause?
@Littleprinceleon Жыл бұрын
I suppose, that if Echinacea and the likes makes one feel worse only for a brief period, then MAYBE the body started to get rid of some cells (via Th1 branch) which were otherwise tolerated: whether for better or worse in the long run... you may not know without thorough examination. But maybe simply the organism can get adapted to Echinacea (and the likes) after a while, and the user felt worse because the supplements induced unnecessary inflammation. When I hear laypersons discussing how the go and boost their immunity, I always wonder, do those people know at least the stuff mentioned in this video?!

I had th1/2 tested and it was normal. I had it tested again during a frozen egg transfer and it was positive... but I also had a really bad cold. Could the cold have caused it to be positive?
@Littleprinceleon Жыл бұрын
What the heck does it mean to be positive in that test? That the Th1 branch is more active?! I think, it will be naturally so if you have an acute infection.

What if you have an intracellular bacteria (in my case bartonella), but become pregnant and know you are in th2 pathway? Wouldn’t I need to be in th1 to fight the infection? Would that then be dangerous for the fetus? This is the first video I have found that addresses my issue, so thank you!
@Littleprinceleon Жыл бұрын
The body actively regulates which branch has to be more active. Probably many functions of the Th1 branch can't be so vigorous during first stages of pregnancy in order to avoid interference with the developing foetus... ...but I bet, it depends hugely on the individual and circumstances, as it tends to be the case with immunity in general

So TH2 is the inflammation immune response? What do we do since birth all the way to until 4 years old...? Train the immune system to only respond to systemic inflammation.. what do we do after 4? More cortical steroids and toxic shots.. wonder why we have an explosion of different leveled, autoimmune issues in our society today.

After reading through some scientific papers on immunity in relation to SARS-COV-2, I strongly believe that the distinction can't be simplified that much! There's is not even just one pathway for inflammatory response and if one doesn't suffer from an autoimmune condition, then if there is a chronic inflammation present, there has to be some cause(s) triggering it. I wonder how many polymorphisms and/or environmental factors can cause undetectable levels of autoimmune responses leading to low level chronic inflammation
@Littleprinceleon Жыл бұрын
Inflammatory responses are generated via the immune system. So why do you think that systemwide infl. is somehow independent of it?
