The new Malm dressers come with locking mechanisms on all of the drawers so they don't open. I cant figure out what the heck is going on!!!

@@breannafields6198 I figured it out. Keep all the locks right side up. This way you can slide all the drawers in. The locking mechanism exists because it is a child safety feature to only allow you to open one drawer at a time. When one is open, the rest are locked. They don’t mention any of this in the instructions.

Even if you build this properly, the issue is with the center rod for the bottom of the drawers, they are very confusing and never understood the theory, they become loose and jammed and the rods get bent and drawer gets stuck, happened the very night i used it

hi, yes they are the same. 6 drawers, 3 in each package 📦. first look on a box if there are the numbers 1 + 2 + 3 like in the video, if yes , then you need a box. but on the other side in certain countries ikea changes the packaging, in this case you will find the numbers 1 + 2 . Good luck

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the drawers! Make sure the tracks are aligned properly, and it might help to double-check the instructions. The pieces not being colored red or blue shouldn't affect assembly, but if you're still stuck, feel free to ask for more help! 😊
