Compliment your innovation and thinking outside the box. Would like to see you go one step more and make a box that is truly water proof. All your builds have the same old problem that all Tracker boats have. All the compartments get water in them because they have no lips at the top the box/compartment. All dry boxes/compartments need at least a 1/4 to 1/2 lip to channel the water away otherwise water will get in any dry box. Keep innovating man. You are so close on your designs!.

Why use rivets vs welding? Is it just easier in the tight spaces or quicker?

The structure done through rivets is: 1. faster, much faster 2. not "permanent" (you can simply undo a riveted structure of you need to change something) 3. strong enough, if you know what you are doing
