Preventing RODI floods with Fusion Apex

I was always creating a flood until I set this system up. How many times have created a flood with your RODI unit when making water?

We have a float switch inside the RODI container and a drilled overflow hose just above that, in case the switch gets stuck. The overflow hose goes right into our laundry tub. So if the float switch gets stuck we will use water and filter life, but won't have a flood. I'd have to use a heck of a lot of water and filters before getting remotely close to the cost of an Apex. Cost was about $6 for the bulkhead and hose because the float switch came with the RODI system. I AM THE APEX. 😁 I'm glad you solved the problem, and I'm still an Apex skeptic. 🤔

How far can a breaker box be from the apex ?

not sure of the actual distance but I have a long 50ft apex aquabus cable run (bought cable from firewire.com) that goes from my main tanks control panel into my laundry room where my water mixing barrels, frag qt and fish qt tanks are. At the end of that 50ft run is a PM1 which is connected to a break out box among other things in the room (multiple EB8's, a few PM1's etc....) That's how I solved the distance problem

Tha Bizness Reef Tank my friend you’re a genius am just a plumber that like to have reef aquarium , but all this technology is making me crazy, Yup my filters are about 65’ from my tank and main EB832 and yeah I flooded my shop 2-3 times cause the hose bib was slightly open over the weekend !!! Imagine what a mess on the back of my office (shop) Thank you! For this videos so very instructive, am definitely watching more of your videos to feed me of knowledge.
