Really cool place to chill out by the fishing lake the food looked pretty good there and they seemed really nice people. Lake was very well stocked with fish and a few big ones in there too. Another nice video, love the countryside. I can relate to your bird poo incident. One day my mum and I were walking along a footpath next to the water, a pelican was sitting on the light post, it pood on us!!! Big bird = big poo!! You definitely know what their diet is, we stunk like fish for ages!!

Bird bombs are fairly common around here, last time I was hit was under a large bridge watching ships pass the river and boom, my shoulder, forearm, and my foot wearing sandals lol I was a mess. We have a rule that whenever looking up in the sky always keep your mouth closed 🤐 Good video Mickey!

You could catch a minivan from the Victory Monument to Minburi where you'll have to change for a regular bus (525 or 526) but I afraid such journey would take about 3 hours.. As i have mentioned it's non touristy area of Bangkok.. there are small hotels and guesthouses, like everywhere in Thailand.. Riding bicycle there might be a bit dangerous (except parks with cycling tracks).. private vehicle/taxi would be few times more comfortable..
