This sanctuary takes care lots of blind and disable elephants. That why it is difficult for them to escape the flood.

@@jitsak1977 I don’t care how big they are. If they can’t prepare the proper plan to protect their animals despite warnings in advance, while many others can. That’s mean there’s something wrong with their management and they should admit these mistakes.

The founder ran for her life, leaving the elephants stuck in cages. Other elephant keepers that she bad mouthed had to come rescue the elephants. So don't donate anything to the elephant park!!! They were still selling tickets when the flood warning came

@@vasansongsa-ard6638 so how much of that actually goes to the Elephants? Now that she’s been exposed…conspiring with NGOs to make Thailand look bad. Staging the elephant being captured in the cruelest of ways. Why should anyone donate $$$ to these frauds?
@deborahwright52092 ай бұрын
@@shanene3145 You are wrong. Elephant Nature Park is one of the few truly ethical sanctuaries. What her and NGOs have said about some of the tourist venues in Thailand is true. These places do not have the animals best interests at heart. The elephants are exploited for the tourist trade. Elephants should not be ridden or forced to paint or perform tricks. It is unnatural behaviour and quite frankly I don't understand how anyone would want to see them in this environment. Nor should captive breeding be allowed as this feeds the tourist trade too. The NGOs and Lek of whom you speak of expose the exploitation, cruelty and neglect of these venues and rightly so. If you visit these attractions you are complicit in the brutal horrific training these elephants had to endure as babies. Some of the back stories of the rescued elephants are truly heartbreaking. What happened at Elephant Nature Park is tragic and if you think Lek will be anything less than heartbroken you are mistaken. You only have to see the relationship she has with the elephants in her care to know this. I'm sure once they have come to terms with what happened, they will take every measure possible to avoid any losses in the future. For you to call for donations to stop is unacceptable. How on earth does that help the animals at the sanctuary.

At :23 seconds Lek can be seen. Please give sources for your information. I personally do not think this woman and her husband Derick would leave these Elephants after spending the time and efforts of which they have hours upon hours of video for us to see on their channel. Please provide proof.
