For the first time since the 2018 Tham Luang Thailand cave rescue I take a tour lead by a Thai Navy Seal hero who helped to get the children out!
Prepare to be captivated by the gripping story behind this Thai Navy SEAL lead tour that takes you deep into the heart of the Thai rescue cave. In this tour I don't just show you the same old footage, I go deep into the Tham Luang rescue cave and tackle some of the obstacles the rescue heroes had to overcome. This video will give you a unique perspective on the rescue that can only be obtained by following in their footsteps!
This compelling video offers a unique perspective on the heroic efforts that unfolded during this daring rescue mission.
Here is the location of the Tham Luang National Park HQ (and cave entrance) where you can book this tour outside of the Rainy Season. It must be booked in advance via the National Park. maps.app.goo.gl/LWd4UFicNjm2F...

The best KZbin vlog! I just cannot imagine how could the first person laid out the rope line thought all sections of the rescue to the end and how could the Thai Navy Seal heroes carry all the equipment inside or outside the cave during the operation? Seeing the actual location they could have been more death. Salute to all rescuer terms ,R.I.P Governor Narongsak and specially the Thai Navy Seal. Hooyah Hooyah Hooyah.

Hey Karl, I hope all is well. That was your best so far. Being a former US Navy submarine guy, and with a little advanced tunnel touring in Vietnam, I wondered if I could handle the trip to "Pattaya Beach" in that cave. Thanks to your incredable footage and you and Anthony constantly laughing in the face of the confined spaces, I feel as if I could make it and actually work down there. The "keyhole" looks doable when it's dry. Harder to pass through dry, but easier psychologically I suppose than when it's submerged. I'll definately get to the public spaces in that cave when I go up to Chiang Mai and Chaing Rai. My school finishes next week for a while... Exceptionally well done Karl (and Anthony), Thanks for taking the time and effort to bring this journey to YT.

I finally had the chance to watch this as my wife also wanted to watch. It was good how I was able to get a sense of perspective of the conditions that the diver's would have experienced with the cave filled with water. 1500 Bath is a very reasonable price to be escorted all that way.

I was there either late December or or January this year Karl. We didn't realise that it was the first day they were opening the cave up to chamber 3. We were approached and offered the opportunity to go in but already had a long day planned and a hotel booked in a different province. We really thought about doing it but I think my partner would have struggled to make it through there so decided against it. All the media and TV crew's were there as well and was televised on Thai news. Not sure if you remember seeing this?. It really does make you feel what the boy's must have felt being stuck in there and the heroic effort from all the rescue team❤

Yes, I suppose I could have made that all clearer. We were m allowed to go in as far as chamber 3 but went a little further, about 800m. The place where the children were found (chamber 9) was another 1500m further inside. Incredible really that they could make it that far but one thing I have learned is that a small frame and body weight is a hell of an advantage over that type of terrain

thanks, karl for the clarification. as is, the video is a wonderful momento for what those kids endured. they're slight frames enabled them well.

A couple of general notes...I'm always impressed that you're out there exploring & enjoying all the amazing outdoor adventures in Thailand. If I am able to retrace even a small number of your trips I'll be so pleased! Secondly, every time my Thai wife hears you speaking Thai I get a dirty look or a pinch reminding me that MY Thai is not so good ! " Thanks for hours of great videos and adventures. Be safe, be happy !

Super cool Karl! I’m a diver and this is crazy - mind and body strength required. Elon is a total twat 😂

Cheers. Elon’s intentions were obviously good but he didn’t come out of it very well in the end. As a diver I can tell you have insight into just what was involved. Cheers

@@karlsthailand I’m of the opinion he was only in it for media attention, then spoke bad of the real hero’s because he was dismissed

@@vintageexcellence He shouldn’t have said what he said which I won’t repeat here but the British guy could have been more diplomatic in his dismissal of Elon’s obviously impractical proposal.

@@karlsthailand difficult high stress situation, when you are an expert and other people start say dumb stuff it’s hard to maintain composure at times. All 3 movies were pretty good, I enjoyed the Thai version as it told us more about the story. Your vid tied some things together when inside the cave.
