I went there many times. I really loved their Padthai wrapped in egg with shrimp oil sauce. I like the unique taste of it. The thin layer of egg is a piece of art. You can literally see the noodle through it. Great service too. Their staff are very polite. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone. Tips: You should visit ICONSIAM branch too.

@@danh27 hahaha, just saying. I'm Indonesian, I traveled to Phuket the other day, and tried Pad Thai in one of the street vendor. I tried my best and I was very hungry at that time, but I couldn't finish it, which is such a shame. I don't know about the taste of other Pad Thai in other place though, but that one really traumatized me. I know I shouldn't assume based on just one Pad Thai. I am gonna give it another go in other place in the future. Do you have any recommendation in Bangkok / other city maybe?

ผัดอย่างนี้กุ้งสุกแล้วสุกอีกจนเนื้อแข็งไปหมด ไม่รู้จักตักขึ้นมาพักไว้ก่อน ใส่ไข่แบบนี้ก็นึกว่าจะเอาเส้นกลบแล้วรอซักพักค่อยผัดปนกันไป ที่ไหนได้ดันผัดไข่จนสุกไม่เคลือบไม่เกาะกับเส้นหรือกุ้งอะไรทั้งสิ้น แบบนี้ผัดไข่แยกกระทะแล้วมาเทรวมทีหลังก็มีค่าเท่ากัน

Very economical use of food--With just 8-10 prawns you have about 6 servings once you add the noodles, eggs, tofu and wrap it in another egg--plenty of protein inexpensively made, and with all those spices and vegetables probably tastes very good.

For your kind info, if anyone wants to try real Phad Thai@Classic plate, the final color of nooldle will not be in red /orange. The color should be lightly brown from natural tamarine sauce.. Dry shrinps will not be in red/orange. They should be in their own natural color = light pink/light orange. If you find your phadthai with (too) standout color, you can assume that the seller has added artificial (food) color or used some ingredients which are adding color.. I hope you can find one shop that you can taste the real taste of phadthai. :) ***I am Thai by the way***

For anyone who wishes to know the name of this restaurant, it's called Thipsamai. Its a famous Pad Thai joint and this is at the original outlet. There's a second outlet at Siam Paragon's food hall but I would recommend anyone to go to the original outlet. Try the orange juice as well! It has whole pulps in it and is very delicious. They offer a vegetarian version for their Pad Thai as well.
