bkk is a good beginner city coming from the west and not living in other asian cities. also if you were in the west not getting a lot of attention from ladies and human being in general , being able to finally get smiles from normal people and ladies for once. but once you level up good to get out of the "easy mode" city and on to the next (maybe 3-5 years is good)

Tax worldwide income now, a totally toxic food & water supply, 100 degree heat, immigration on a short leash, living in A/C 24/7 , heavy pollution are but a few of the reasons Bangkok is a tuff sell.

Agreed with you brother. I'm not far from you in SE Asia. Been out here 3 months. Life literally on restart mode. I'm getting into online but I heard the same from other business guy here. Network, network. Sucks with the language though. I'm more apt to learn Thai because it's in Pimsleur haha

Tourist visa short term. Tourists are not qualified to get a job, so you must navigate the rules of the road for starting your own business, or joining another. Maybe the rules are becoming more flexible, but for me there is a history of uncertainty about government regulations and visas for example... But where there is a will there is a way....!

BKK still sadly not developed enough for tech industry. I was at a Blockchain event there towards the end of last year and on day 2 all the exhibitors has to cover over their name / branding due to not being registered in BKK 😂. How daft

Why? Can get a 4 year visa with work permit if you work at a decent company or create a company and sponsor your own.
