My daughter is English and son in law is French . Each of them only spoke their respective languages to my grandson from the day he was born so he was bilingual naturally from the beginning. He is five now, and it is so interesting watching him flip back and forth according to whom he is talking to!

That’s great that your kids will be fluent in both English and Thai. I remember transferring out of international school in Bangkok to an all Thai school so I could fully immerse myself myself socially and fundamentally in Thai. I had to teach myself how to read and write Thai before I enrolled but it was worth it!

Nam is such a light and a blessing. I am so beyond happy for her that her son is coming. You could just see the joy in her when she was talking about it. I can’t even imagine how hard it has been for her all these years. My prayers are with you all and with Nam’s family back home and her son, especially as he makes the transition into a new country living with new people. I’m sure that will be difficult for him, even though I’m also sure he’ll be happy to be with his mom again. Then when you factor in the trauma from the war going on in Myanmar, I’m sure her son will have a lot that he’s coping with (or has yet to cope with). But with God, all things are possible, and as long as you keep Him at the center of everything, I do not doubt that He will provide everything needed to make things go as smoothly as possible, and to bring healing for all involved. So many prayers. 🙏🏻💕God bless!

We (my twin sister and I) ❤ love seeing you and your family out to eat and at the beach again! It’s wonderful to see Watt smiling again! Every aspect of your life shared with all of us shows how God is working in you! I prayed that Nam’s son (hopefully family too) could come, so that is more than happy news! It’s great you can teach him English. I worked ESL and English in the Junior High School grades for 12 years. I learned it takes 3-7 years to learn a new language. You, with this, amaze me! I had Asian Club (other Ethnic backgrounds came too) of 65 students for 6 years. I bought the food, they cooked! We did dance performances, a parade, and had barbecues at parks. I miss that, and back then, told them when they marry and have children, I hope we still have contact. Well, we’re Facebook friends! Love and bless you❤️

Loved the length of this video. I seem to never get enough. Luke is very happy. I know that he's a little older now, but there's a huge difference between the school he used to attend and this one. He was sad every day. By the time, Leon goes, he will probably feel the same way about this school. So glad to know that Nam's son is coming to stay with you. Her parents will probably never leave because, like most older people, home is home. This is what they know and are familiar with. The restaurant is shaping up and it looks like you might have your first employee. Wat looks so much happier now. Keep going Lilly! God's got you and is guiding you in everything you do.

Luke is adorable! He’s going to do great in school! I have bilingual kids, and when we moved to Mexico my oldest daughter didn’t speak much Spanish but once she started school in two months she was communicating with her new friends. They’re sponges. I wish it was that easy for me 😅 I have a tip, when you put something on TV for the kids to watch and it’s new, like a new movie, put it in Thai. My kids prefer the language they watched a movie or program in first. At times they’ll prefer the Spanish version over English. Best to you and you family Lilly ❤
