We were gonna come to Thailand in May but decided to wait till mid October instead and head to Turkey in May cos there is no need for Covid PCR test in Turkey if your fully vaccinated, hopefully no PCR test and go by October in Thailand x

I’ve already booked Thailand for November. My main concern is the latest scam. Hospitals have attached themselves to hotels and conducting PCR tests. I’ve read accounts of the hospitals scamming the tourists by giving a false positive and charging massive amounts to keep patients in. I would rather pay for a PCR test prior to travelling and have that recognised or even use LFT tests. I test myself daily due to my job. Any thoughts?

Yes, many of us are concerned about this, It has been well documented to be happening. Many with no symptoms too but still being scammed unless their testing equipment was malfunctioning which we doubt. No wonder many are reluctant to fly to Thailand these days Many passengers flying had official gold-plated PCR tests just BEFORE getting on the plane before arrival into Thailand. IN other words, they were already healthy, officially.

@@stephanmaritz3924 just wondering what happens if you test yourself positiv on day 5. An upload of the result can be manipulated quite easy. Nobody will self-disclosure himself and go to quarantine for 10 days voluntarily. This method doesn´t really make sense to me.
