Ranong has many rivers and 3 very well looked after hot springs good restaurants. You can also get many foods from Myanmar

Yes, Ranong is next to Myanmar and we have been friends since long time ago. I love the hot springs in my hometown.

Awesome vid there. Art. Ranong looks like a real gem for sure - speaking of "Onsen" - how would you rate the Thai to the Japanese? - and in general., Japan to Thailand on the tourist scene?....was thinking as a vid -idea of course, some where down the line.....:-)

Hi Space, thanks again for sharing your thought. 'Onsen' is actually a Japanese word and the Japanese people have traditions of hot springs bathing for a thousand years. For Thailand, as it is a tropical country, ddoes not have a tradition of hot springs bathing. However, Thailand is fortunate to have a lot of great hot springs, especially Ranong hot springs which are considered the purest one as there is no sulphur. Nowadays, we try to blend hot springs with our traditions like massage and spa. These all activities are good for health :)
