Koh Lipe has been one of our favourite islands so far - I can see why it’s called the Maldives of Thailand ❤️

Thank you! We are really loving the trip and it is opening up a whole new world that we didn't really know existed...much to our embarrassment. We are enjoying each and every day and keep pinching ourselves that it is November and we are in our swim gear! Thanks for the comment👍

Great video, your tans are getting better in every video. Weather is looking great. We went to Ko Samui, Ko Phangan and Ko Tao last December it rained for a week. Maybe we should have gone to the Indian Ocean side. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Your trip looks amazing. My son and his family including a 4 year old and a 6 year old are currently there. I was a bit worried about the grandkids travelling over there but they are having an incredible time.

Ahhh beautiful place to be and the snorkelling looks amazing. I remember the vibrant colours on the coral reef looking almost artificial they were so bright. Really loving this series of videos, look forward to each instalment, keep them coming ❤

Thanks Adam, we are really glad that we gave it ago. It was definitely worth taking the boat trip as some of the spots they dropped us at were unreal. It is almost Alien like down amongst the corral. We loved the fish, but in some ways, the vibrant corral was even more impressive. Cannot wait to do some more when we get the chance. We are glad that you are enjoying what we do. Have a great week👍

We really enjoyed this video, it was good to see you slowing down just a little bit! You’re not quite yet on ‘Island time’ haha but it’ll gradually seep into you both. Your first impressions reminded me of my first time in the South Pacific, that feeling of WOW 🤩 so it was lovely to see you experiencing that. On our travels we always apply a kind of weekend feature so 5/2 where we spend 2 days in every 7 simply hanging out as if it were a weekend then off we go again. It helps us to avoid travel exhaustion on our 3 month trips. Thank you for the 12Go Asia tip which I’ve downloaded ❤

Thanks for this Bonnie- great suggestion about the 5/2 idea. It sounds a really good way of keeping ourselves fresh. We will definitely build this into our planning for the remainder of the trip. We are getting better at saying no to visits, as they will always be here when we visit again. We cannot (and would not want to) do everything in one trip. Glad that you like the 12GoAsia app- we have used it a few times since and it has not let us down yet. We have booked all our ferries on there, as well as a long distance bus for tomorrow😬 Have a good week👍

Super video... are you missing Nelson? 😄
@earlyretirementwanderlust7 сағат бұрын
Thanks - we actually are missing Nelson - it is easier taking your home away from home everywhere with you- you know what you have got - some of the accommodations we have booked are a little rustic 🤣 but we are really enjoying the challenge of getting ourselves around using public transport with just our backpacks 🎒

Thank you Diane - Koh Lipe has been one of our favourite places so far - it is known as the Maldives of Thailand. Our main source of exercise is walking and hiking - but we do set our selves little fitness challenges when we are home which do make a difference. When is your trip? Where else do you have planned beyond Bangkok?
@dianed29197 сағат бұрын
Trip starts in 50 days and counting ! Bangkok , Chiang mai , Phuket town , Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Da Nang , back to Ho chi Min then Home . Il planing on taking G my exercise bands so hopefully keep up with our fitness . Quite an action packed trip , but it will be our only outing next year , enjoying your blogs very much , have a safe trip to next destination 👌
