I had a cheap room there once that was directly facing the Sailor Bar. It was loud very late into the night. Your ocean-view room looks much nicer.

Used to be my Go To hotel back in the early 90s. It was newer of course. There used to ba a second swimming pool to the right of the lobby area. We stayed there for one night about a year ago and it's showing it's age. Fond and wild memories though.

Very pleasant review. I have never been in a hotel of any rating in this in this part of the world that did not have at least some items in the mini bar. Some years ago I stayed at a 4 star hotel in Las Vegas that had nothing in the minibar, and that really shocked me. And the so called resort fee alone was more than the cost of this hotel.

Peter you can stay in The Arbour Hotel on 3rd Road. Five stars for £50 per night and it blows that place you’re in out the park bye miles. I’ve booked it for January and I’ve stayed loads of times .

FLH was the 1st place I ever stayed in Pattaya way back in February '07. The cost then was about B1400 with breakfast, which my mate and I didn't hear them say, so we paid for breakfast at the Sailor Bar every day!😂 My room number was 330ish, I think? It had the same layout as the one you showed, but looked out to the left of the building. Back then Soi 7 & 8 were the places to be, along with Beach Rd and Walking Street.

Mind you the exchange rate was B70 to the pound and I estimated that the room was costing me about £26 a night, which compared to Miami where I'd spent 3 months, 3+ years beforehand, it seemed very reasonable.

I dont know if its the same ownership but i stayed in the Soi 7 flipper 2 weeks ago. They had the strangest warning on check in - "If you dirty sheets on anything on bed you buy new. Keep clean." Then when I got to the bedroom there was a laminated sheet with a list of costs if i soil or damage. My friend got the same warning. So weird. ......This soi 8 option looks much better

I would say BUDGET hotel be below 1000 per night.. About 800 650 baht. Like sutus court 3rd building.. 18 coins etc

Hi yes this is a decent mid price hotel I stopped using it and it's sister hotel flipper Lodge and flipper house same family group own them. As the streaky bacon 🥓 stopped from covid and I ended up with an ear infection from the pool only 1 time . Been there 50 or so times pool was ok then , many 🐦 🐦‍⬛ come for a dip.I gone to blackwoods still owned by the same group. Lk's and areca Lodge. Nearer kungs . The waste of the land straight across was a bar complex now a car park spoiled it for me. Best bar gone also. Soi7 or lk metro better area for me now.

I don't agree with that! Many times I have gone in and asked the price of a hotel room, I have then checked it on a hotel booking website and it is always cheaper on the booking website. I have tried to match the price with the reception staff and they have told me to book it on the hotel booking site to get the best price so I actually booked it while I was stood next to the receptionist several times.
