Good honest review, thanks Peter. Glad you showed the pool at the end, looks good. Room , as you say a bit dated but clean and efficient for the money. Great location opposite Soi 15. Easy access to all the main areas. That new bar opposite, Dynamite, is owned by the same guy who owns Korandos down Soi 15 apparently, which many rave about. Always a grumpy ferang around sadly. Trouble is there are a lot of Pattaya vloggers now and some very intrusive. Sadly some members of public treat all the same.

Hi Pete, thanks for the review, giving your fellow "Thailand Bound " travellers a mini review of this Hotel. One thing I like to point out, especially for first time travellers, the Bathroom in the Hotel you’re staying is a "wet" bathroom, meaning there is no separation between the shower and the rest of the Bathroom, meaning the whole bathroom gets wet when having a shower. I learnt that the hard pm a stay in Singapore a few years back now... A pity you had to deal with a miserable bugger down at reception...

Pete you really need an iPhone 11 _or better_ (because it's the best phone for making video + the stabilization is on par with GoPro). When people are filming with phone nobody says anything but if you do the same thing with a big camera or a GoPro then people have a problem *for some reason* .

Yeah great location from your other video I’m staying at the Holiday Inn express getting my retirement visa your directions were fantastic and you’re right they are great there and just so you know it there’s a great massage parlor right across the street from you went there this morning

Dynamite used to be a lovely restaurant. Had many a fish meal there. Good memories over many years. Sad its gone - but progress I guess. On the opposite side of the road to the hotel was a bar called Relax, about 8 years ago, the owner was Sai. Also very popular at that time.

That room looks like its worth the money. I have stayed in very similar around Pataya but when I am only going to stay a couple of nights I will spend more. The "dated" furnishing issue is common even in some of the more up market hotels that are older. I know you have mentioned a helmet is a "must have" but any one new to Thailand and watch this will no doubt have noticed the Farang and all the Thais with no Helmet. They do so at their own peril . I am guilty of the same at times. The old dude whinging about the video was as you say out for confrontation at any cost and the hotel would be better off without people like that. What embaresses me the most as a westerner is when I see other westerners behaving like A holes in Thailand.

Hotel looks great ! And the pool has lots of sunbeds, so you should be almost guaranteed to get one. Perfectly located too. Price seems reasonable to me. Pity they don't have an in-room safe. And that old aggressive guy : imagine being in your holidays and getting in someone's face about an innocent video. It's not like you were videoing him in a go-go bar, or in his speedos by the pool, or huffing and puffing in the gym an not looking his best. He should realise that in the modern world, you will be caught on camera in public places, and there's nothing you can do about it. Even Victor Meldrew would have no problem with that.

An update to the computer projected onto the tv is adding a dp to hdmi converter because most computer or newer laptops have only a dp port. The hdmi cable has been replaced by the thinner Data Port cable.

Good point. Also, for older laptops you can get a USB to HDMI converter cable

Most Budget Hotels don't have a slot for that cable they still have a HDMI cable so my advice to anybody is you can carry both cables but the HDMI is the most used here

Yes my wise card works in the ATMs. Any International ATM card you use you will be charged 220 baht no matter the amount you withdraw! You can go inside a bank with your passport and withdrawal for free but the wait can be up to 30 minutes.

Yes you can go to Sun Fitness it's a great gym, no Knuckleheads working out) You can look it up it's close by to the hotel. 10 baht in a Baht bus 120 baht for a session in the gym. I use it regularly

Hi I’ve been to Pattaya more than a few times, some places flood occasionally but I am now a wheelchair user so I don’t cope with rain deeper than a few inches, does this area of soi buakhao have problems and also I can’t seem to find a direct contact with this hotel unless I go through facebook..any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Hi there! I understand your concern about flooding, especially as a wheelchair user. Soi Buakhao area does experience occasional flooding, particularly during heavy rain seasons. However, it typically doesn't reach depths that would pose significant issues for wheelchair users. Facebook is the only option provided, consider sending them a message there explaining your situation. They might be able to assist you promptly. Hope this helps!

I usually stay at Sutus Court because of the location. Turn left for Soi Boomerang turn right for LK Metro, Chaiyapoon etc

I looked at the rooms in that hotel, the unrenovated rooms are cheap but they're horrible, really horrible! I couldn't sit and work in them on my PC and the newly renovated rooms in my opinion, are not worth 800 baht a night, but on a positive note their restaurant is very good.

@@ThailandBound I stay in Sutus Court 1 ask for a room at the back overlooking the pool it’s quieter. The room and bathroom are quite spacious and the bed is comfortable to sleep on. Plus the staff are great and are pleased to see you when you return.

Could you tell me the name of the hotel next door to nature view and is ut open. We have stayed at nature view a few times in the past but beds were brick hard. I would go back again cos you're saying beds comfy but would like to try 1 next door if it's nit too pricey.

Hi I don't think you can get this on Agoda. Anytime we have come to nature view in past it was always a walk in and you had to pay cash, but that was a few years ago. Don't know if that's all changed now. Sorry to butt in to your info but it's just for your info 😉

Hey mate, if you get a chance, it'd be interesting to get a review of the non-Thai ladies currently available in Pattaya. Specifically African and Russian freelancers currently available in Pattaya. No other Thailand KZbin channel has done a video like that (to my knowledge - but I'd be interested to watch if anyone knows of any!), so it'd definitely be unique.

All I can say is that Russian women are extremely expensive (10000+ regardless of their beauty) and when it come to black women, it depends on her look (can range from 2000 to 10000)

It's not the sort of video I would make it doesn't really gel with my channel but what I can tell you is as always there are plenty of Russian women who are very expensive and nowhere near as good looking as the Thai women and there's one or two African women hanging around but older

I can understand if you’re engaging in illegal activity and you’re getting up to some naughty things with a room full of hookers and cocaine yeah I don’t think I would want to be filmed not that I would ever get up to naughty things with hookers and cocaine in a hotel room well not so far but never say never…….. so I can’t understand why some people don’t wanna be filmed it’s a bit strange considering in the western CCTV everywhere and there’s no right of him privacy in public and technically if you’re in a hotel foyer you even a swimming pool you’re technically in public………. I can’t stand up for doing something weird human science experiment and you’ve got the camera on peoples faces they probably won’t like it but I’m pretty sure it’s a discrete filming isn’t gonna be an issue well obviously it is for some people keep up the good work Peter I really do like the hotel reviews

You actually can as long as you're not going out of your way to be deflammatory as long as you're comments are genuine for instance you might find a hotel room was a bit dark or not cleaned properly you can say that without any problem. I'm not sure if you aware, but it's actually illegal here in Thailand to take photos or videos without obtaining permission from the person or people you capture, Regarding the hotel, if anyone is staying short term and is on a budget it's not bad but if anyone is staying long term they could get a condo of the same quality as this hotel for about 4k to 5k a month, 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms 4.5 star condos are about 14k a month so it all depends on the budget. There's so many options for accommodation in Thailand, I simply give reviews of locations that I stay at in the hope that they might be helpful to some, but probably not all. With regards to the law on pointing a camera at somebody, you might have noticed that I always ask permission in a hotel but generally try not to point cameras at anybody. If somebody is caught in the background I don't that think this is an issue, I think the law is more aimed at the paparazzi who stick their cameras in the faces of politicians and journalists without their permission which is quite understandable but making KZbin videos in a very casual way without being direct, I think is no problem for most people.
