You’re so right Dan, I like the way you explained why this situations happen. Men feeling invisible where there from especially to women, the feeling of irrelevance and I think that’s a broad diagnosis but accurate. I,d heard 2 many horror stories from the first few times I was there 7 or 8 years beforehand. In the end I made her choose between me and another poor bugger from Germany who was sending her money every month over 18 months of not seeing her. So he,s sending her money, and she sleeps with me for 5or6 weeks at a time, and like I said takes me home for marriage which, obviously didn't eventually. Because she played the wrong card telling her mum she was only 70% sure of me. Funny she was waiting for me to drop a huge dowry when I was there at her mums home, but her sister told me up to you, she understood me because my girlfriend said that to her mum. So here she was thinking I,ll put maybe 100 thou baht or something ridiculous. I left her mum 10,000 baht. Her sister smiled. When I got back to bangkok I give her another 10,000 and told her to make her mind over the next 2 months while I was in Vietnam. I returned she told me the German man was coming in another week for holidays. I said to her then you have to tell him you are finished. She thought I went back to Vietnam, I went to Samui instead and went back to Phuket 2 weeks later. Made her Choose. Big surprise for her, I just said you go with him, it's over for us. She was crying and telling me why, why, I said it's not fair for him or me. See that's what these ladies do, don't be fooled by them. They probably got 3 or 4 blokes on a string just fishing for the biggest catch. Trust me I was lucky, like I said I,ve spent a lot of time, and money over many years. Could this work out? Yes, but the odds are against you, my friend. Even if her intentions are honest, which seems highly questionable, she is only 20 and will change a lot over the next few years. It is unlikely she will continue to find you as useful, and hence her interest will wane. My advice: only give her money now in proportion to how much value she currently provides you. Then if it goes sideways, at least you got something for your money. This is not necessarily just sex if you're lonely and value companionship. But don't get out over your skis on this one. This is great advice and so far you are the only one to point out that as long as he gives only in proportion to what he feels he is getting, then if things go poorly he received something of equal value to what he paid so all is good. And, it does seem he is getting more then just aerobics from her because there is an emotional connection on his part. Of course, we all know that emotional connection is probably a one way street in that she is probably not emotionally attached to him. Anyway, your advice is a good option for him. Another good option is just to back out, but many others have already said that. You provide a different option if he can’t back out for emotional reasons.
