I know it couldn't have been much fun in the rain, but i really do enjoy these videos, I know very little of the Thames either side of central London and a little around Canvey/Southend, so this is informative, but I also enjoy seeing the more natural side of the Thames, as well as your social commentary. It's really interesting and i look forward to them.

The usual excellent informative, funny, socially aware standard of video I've come to expect - maybe the question "why?" is to entertain fools like me 😆. Thanks Tim.

The Marlow suspension bridge, used to annoy me. I'd have to go a long way round at 4am in the morning due to the 2 ton limit. I were in a 3.5 ton van. It survived an artic going over it and getting stuck due to bursting it's tyres on the width barriers (those bell shaped thingys). You may remember this. No structural damage in terms of stretched cables after months of repair and testing yet slap a 2 ton limit on it.

4:30 Monkey Island. I did a bungee jump there from a crane. Awesome experience!

This might be a bit of a daft question as i think i saw you achieving what I'm about to ask at the end of the video lol. I was going to ask, are you able to wear your rain jacket over the top of your down jacket? If so did you have to get a size up in the rain jacket? I'm new to walking/hiking so trying to work all these things out! Lol. Thank you.

Usually yes, you want your rain jacket to fit over several layers, usually jackets you add another 1-2 inches/ 2-5cm to your chest size. So it's usually better to go one size up. So I go for ones around 43-44cm. Only case this isn't true is when the manufacturer has already done this (some rain jackets are designed to be larger than the stated size, so if it's '42cm chest' it's really 44cm). it's a good idea to check Amazon etc. for people saying if it's correct to size. Usually what you buy in a standard jacket is also what you buy in a rain jacket - so I usually go for XL. (Although oddly, one puffer jacket is 2XL and the other is XL, as Decathlon's sizes are weird).

If in doubt, buy online where you can send it back, or go try it on is a shop with your puffy jacket etc on, or keep in mind you want it loose rather than tight because in cold weather you might want to put an extra layer on.

'Why am I doing this?' I feel your pain when I seen that soaked tent. 😬 A true trooper. I wouldn't have blamed you going home. Nothing worse than being soaked! 🫡

Oh you haven't seen anything yet. I am editing the last day and even I am shocked I kept going. If it wasn't for other projects I bailed before, or this video series, I probably would have days before.
