This is my absolute favourite Sigur Ros song. I love watching them perform, Jonsi has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.

Is there a band on this planet that can touch sigur ros for beauty,emotion and creativity,i think not,simply amazing.

Esta canción es de mis favoritas, me mata emocionalmente, pero necesito escucharla de vez en cuando. Me encanta como usan la batería y el instrumento que usa Jonsi. Gracias por subirla. Saludos.

omg im sorry but this song is soo beautiful in so many ways. His voice is so high pitched and yet he continues to go even louder. I also love the background music.=)

For anyone who is new to the band, find the studio version of this, on the album Takk, turn it up and enjoy. A journey worth taking for sure.

I think that Sigur Rós' makes interactive music, 'coz they creat an atmosphere with the instruments and the voice, and we give direction to the trip by creating our own lyrics for each song. Cheers!

Imanolchavez, I'm kinda in the middle there. I love Sigur Ros' music, but I'd hardly say they're an important part in my life. They are inspirational, but to go so far and say I couldn't go without them is silly.

All of Takk... is amazing. This song is probably one of my favorites, though.

Yeah very under rated song really, it's actually quite a fierce song I think especially with a big crushendo like that, paints a mental picture of a battle that the hero only just wins having been thought dead to me at least

NaClu2!

It looks more like a hi-hat near the beginning of the clip. I get the same effect putting a splash on a tom. I don't have the luxury of a 16 inch tom at the moment, but when I do, and if I happen to have any spare hats lying around, hehehe...

@nhonhoMexJp Pues no, no existe traducción, puesto que no tiene letra, en esta canción canta en Hopelandic, que basicamente son fonemas similares al islandés, que además tienen cierto parecido con el inglés; pero en si no dice nada. Saludos

@archipelligo wow that is almost exactly what I picture with the beginning of this song song. A grassland or brown wasteland with some type of epic battle with woodland people. That and dying in a natural disaster and seeing paradise at the end

wow! that amazing. if anyone understands how orri is getting that sound in the beginning tell me!
@muzzilaneous44016 жыл бұрын
Anybody know what Orri puts on his floor tom to get that whip sound? It sounds so awesome!
@chigwife86215 жыл бұрын
I think it is a sample of his voice with the pitch altered, the same as the start and end of Vaka off ( )
@drums4joel16 жыл бұрын
It seems to me like Orri has a small snare drum on top of the floor tom, cause right by the end u dont see the small snare on it anymore. I LOVE this song, but it seems like they played it a little too fast?

actually, in this song he sings in hopelandic which is a made up language
@endotm295616 жыл бұрын
There is no lyrics it's hopolendish,that means its bands isnvented language without any meaning.
@CalculatedPerception16 жыл бұрын
it's hardly even a language: hopelandic that is. it's more of jibberish which leaves a completely open interpretation for lyrics.
