I had a nde when I was 10 yrs old. I fell off a high diving board into cement and into the pool. My life passed before me, in slow motion. A beautiful man lifeguard came, in the water and hugged me. He whispered , in my ear , not your time! I awoke out of the pool and said , to thank, the lifeguard. My sister screamed at me, she said, it was only us at the pool.

This is how a very intelligent, thoughtful woman explains an NDE. Yes, an educated European, unlike most Americans who unfortunately have been subjected to a "dumbing down " process for many decades, will be free to think, to show the depth of her being and the extent of her knowledge and keen observations. Of course this woman is exceptional . Still, in the US we have opted to value appearance, status, competition. There is a cost to it. Such as superficiality, conformism... I knew many people here in the States, who felt like fish out of water, misfits in our culture. As someone who has straddled both sides of " the big pond" much of my life, I assured them that they would fit perfectly in any European society! How nice that so many on this forum appreciate what this lovely lady brings to the table.

I was visited one night in November 2015 by a spirit man who materialised 2 times in an hour for about 30 seconds per visit, he was robed and looked entirely human even had eye wrinkes and very light brown eyes which looked almost orange. He materialised very rapidly each time from an orangy beige fuzzy ball of light and was looking at me with a concerned expression. Anyway the next morning i find my friend dead in an adjoining bedroom. This being had an uncanny resemblance to the actor Bruce Weitz ..it was fantastic a thing to behold.

My brother and I always said that whichever of us died first we would return to let the other know what happened. Years went by, then our elderly mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had an operation and seemed to be making a good recovery. Then they discovered the cancer had returned. My brother couldn’t cope with this in addition to his other problems, and committed suicide. It was left to me to give my mother this tragic news, and cope with the aftermath. It was a very tough time. A couple of weeks after his funeral he visited me in a dream. In retrospect I believe he was keeping his promise, he told me that in essence death was a trick and he didn’t really die, but I was too angry

I was a teen and for no reason found myself outside my body which i saw in bed asleep. I had the odd capability to see clearly in the dark at whatever my attention was drew to looking at though it still was dark around me. Also hhad a cocoon of just right warmth around me. They can also come in dreams. I had a dream that gave me a totally different view of hell from what I could have possibly ever imagined hell was like. I really can't explain the whole understanding of what happened as one would have to feel it themselves. I had another dream that also was profound. If anything she criticised religions (hers specifically) for not understanding and for lack of empathy. There may well be people (and I know there is) on this site who follow different religions to yours. This woman is talking about her experience. She said that she didn't like any of the labels. These labels are restrictive and have no bearing on the facts. I am trying to watch this video and enjoy what people are saying then I come across yours. You seem to me to want to limit other's experiences of their own lifes and deaths into the rules of your religion. I am glad for you if you find comfort believing in Jesus. I was an atheist and a materialist until a couple of months ago. Seeing all these accounts of ndes online and learning about the results of research carried out by Fenwick, Lommel, Sartori, Grayson, Long and others has blown apart all my old certainties. I do still listen to the arguments put forward by the materialists (ie it’s all hallucinations, wishful thinking, make believe etc) but those arguments are sounding increasingly threadbare compared to what the other side is saying. I do still have loads of questions and uncertainties about the afterlife though. That will never change until I experience it for myself.

There is way to much emphasis on the experience instead of Who is behind it. The Light, always referred to it, is a Person. God. Just because we've been allowed to see into the veil doesn't mean we own the experience and have a one up on everybody else. It is a privilege.Jesus Christ is The Source of it all and deserves the praise and Glory.The mind is spirit and never dies but your brain is separate and controls the bodily functions and dies in the end. There is a difference between the two. I've noticed with many European experiences, it is more cerebral and less spiritual. Perhaps since the churches in Europe have been empty for some time, God is left out of the Eternal experience, at least it seems that way.

Part 2. I then entered into the LIGHT, the source of "LIFE The Real Self", and was Aware of "The ALL". That is to say I was Aware of ALL that existed.... This life os a gift? It feels more like a duty. Of course I don't know what's before and whats after. But this don't particularly feels like a gift. My hunch is that the afterlife is better than here, so I can't see how it's a gift? Im so so dissapointed in the human race, so I can't see how it's a gift? Of course there's beautiful moments. I love my son and I love nature. I also love my big muscles. Im gifted that way. But if I have my son in the afterlife anyway, then what's the gift here? Most of the things I have to learn here is useless anyway. Like math and numbers and rules and beucracy. What can I use that for in the afterlife? Or if I get reincarnated? I will have forgotten it anyway. It's like being forced to do equations in school. I have not once in my 40 years life used and equation outside of school. Not once! Its a useless waste of time. And much in this life feels that way. So excuse me if I have a hard time seeing its a gift to be here. I have a hard time now at least. Because I have no memory of anything.

In my opinion, garnered from decades of experience , this lovely lady merged with her "I Am Presence", perhaps some would call this the Higher Self, the Causal Body. This seems very obvious to me when I relistened at the approximate 8:01-10:00 minute mark. This is when our sense of our current earth "identity" merges with the Light, for essentially we are the Light-the I Am THAT I Am.

Maybe Sabine would find the Quakers (Society of Friends) a good spiritual home. Quakers believe in an experiential faith - there is no dogma, although there are witnesses to truth, social justice and peace. I am clerk to the Quaker Fellowship for afterlife Studies, which explores phenomena like near-death experiences, afterlife communications and personal experiences of spirit. The Fellowship is open to all, not just Quakers, and has an international membership.
