Bro seeing Thando’s come up has been sooo beautiful 🥺 I remember when she dropped Weak and email’d me her full press release for the single and asked for me to cover it on my YT Show Come Cav. Even though I didn’t really have a major following, I did the best I could and plugged on my channeld and to the campus station I worked for, TuskFM. Now to see her here on The Yard and being SAMA nominated is just so surreal cause she really put in the WORK. She was really doing more than just posting a link, she had a full press release and was reaching out to people in all spaces to help push her, on radio, tv and YT, which I feel is what a lot of artists on the come up forget to do, put in the ground work in term of marketing.
