I'm very impressed how much a single man can achieve in quality and regularity. It's wonderful if patreon can provide a "production team" so the channel would be realistic to maintain (with normal life).

thank you for making these videos! They've helped me better understand my dyslexia and why I hear "more" sounds than other people! Between my accent and inconsistent English spelling, I was terrible at writing! So terrible, in fact, they put me in special education because they thought I was slow minded!!! Your channel brings me a HUGE relief in understanding I'm not crazy for hearing the nuances of my accent & language. The adults always said I was being stupid and spelling was easy. But there are so many different ways to write sounds I hear! I'm 33 now and I grew up in Texas, USA but I want to say you and Rob Speaks KZbin** really, reaLLY, REALLY helped me understand that I was NOT an idiot and could AND WAS JUST sensitive to the sounds I was hearing. I deeply appreciate it!!!!

Isn’t it nice to have been at the beginning of what becomes a big channel; to feel like you helped to build that growth; to have had the chance to interact with an excellent content creator before his channel grows too big to respond to comments? I for one appreciate Dr Lindsey’s replies to my comments on his earlier videos, his genuine interest in what the viewers had to add to the conversation. But this channel definitely deserves the growth it’s had. Such high quality and fascinating content for a one-man-show. All the best @Dr Geoff Lindsey!

I very much enjoy your channel, Geoff. Raised in Portsmouth (Hants) but having lived in North Carolina for the last half of my life, I get it! Could you use a VPN service to tell the internet you're located in a different country? I haven't done so, but I've heard that people do it to access streaming content that's not available in their country and to pay less for hotel/flight reservations and stuff. I wonder if it works for Patreon.

@@resourceress7 unfortunately, that’s the international payments that don’t go through, VPN doesn’t help in this case

@taylorizedfunster call your bank! If your attempted transaction declines, your bank will be able to see it! Let them know you are trying to make that international transaction, and they can approve the request to have you retry the transaction while you're on the line with you to make sure it goes through! A helpful little tip from someone working in banking :)
