Thank you for an amazing Uni Schlossfest 2022!

It was a blast to see you all again!
After a break of two years due to the pandemic, the university opened its doors again for the Uni Schlossfest on 10 September 2022. And what a get together it was! 5000 visitors were able to enjoy a varied program of art, music, comedy, science, and party. In the Aula of the university SCHATZKISTL and Capitol presented different musicians and comedians from Mannheim, while in the Fuchs-Petrolub-Festsaal jazz fans got their money’s worth listening to the concert of the jazz band ELLA & LOUIS. The musical program on the stage in the Rektoratshof was just as exciting. There, the bands piya, Kies, emma, Florid and Enya of the NEXT Mannheim project for the promotion of young talents performed in front of a thrilled audience.
During the Science Marathon, six professors gave insights into their research and explained, for example, what the limits to the right to freedom of expression are or what challenges artificial intelligence creates. While the visitors were strolling from one event to the other they were able to marvel at the different art exhibitions in the corridors of the Schloss. At various drink and food stands the visitors were provided with tasty food and drinks ranging from soft drinks, to wine and beer, to fancy cocktails. The renowned Schneckenhofparty under the motto “SWR3 Goes Clubbing” was a wonderful conclusion of this year’s Uni Schlossfest.
