@@brodysearle I’m happy with my result all things considered. I past you and called out on the first hill on the bike course, I’m pretty sure you had the biggest smile out of all the athletes I past which was great to see. Got a little concerned when I past you id say maybe 1.5km into your run and you were walking though ya knee must have been playing up but was really happy to see you running the next few times we pasted and the best bit was I don’t think the smile ever left your face. Well done to you and a great effort!!

What sport did you do before the Ironman project? There is no way in the world, that someone completely untrained does an ironman with 200 days of training.

From as young as I can remember; I played local/representative AFL (Aussie Rules) until the age of 19/20. I also played basketball and did sprinting in high school. The last 4 years I have only been weight lifting 6-7 times a week. I’m 24 now. 😁
