Brother from another mother. It's great to hear from you Mike. Hope you had a lovely Christmas day with your family. We had the entire "Maltese" clan (22 people) over at our house yesterday. I was bloody exhausted by the end of the day and crashed in bed at 7:30pm. I know it's a bit cooler over your way ATM, but it's farken hot over here Mike at 91F (32°C). Big boy needs to be down the beach or in a Jacuzzi (spa) being fanned and fed grapes by hot girls with fans and bikinis on LOL. Cheers, Aaron. G'day Tony, it's nice to hear from you buddy. Yes the new job has kept me flat out. I really hope it settles down soon, as I have very little desire to get out in my home machine shop. When I left the Catholic School, I brought my teacher aide with me to the new job. He's a fully qualified machinist and got the ticket to teach apprentices. So the pair of us are going great guns there. He does the predominate of manual stuff and I do the bulk of CAD CAM & CNC with the Haas machines. I've been out of CNC for a couple of years, so it took me some time to get my "mojo" back. I wish you lived closer, as I drag you in to help me mate 😉. Cheers Tony & happy new year, Aaron.

G'day Stevie. Congratulations mate on getting close to the 1K subs. That is amazing and you should be very proud of yourself. TBH, KZbin these days is a lot of bloody hard work for very little gain. I have better hits and views on my Instagram. For example, that gear cutting video on KZbin shorts got 10K views (200 likes), but on Instagram it got 75K views (3K likes). G'day ol' Mate, Well I have to say the TAFE system especially in Victoria need to capture hard thinking tradesmen such as yourself. It is bloody hard to teach skills to apprentices if you don't have those skills in the first place. As you already know the fantastic Tech College Instructors at Yeronga Technical College in 1974 set me on a path where they not only taught me to be the tradesman that I've been but set me up to pass it forward. Stay strong mate, your apprentices need you even ( especially) those who aren't yet smart enough to realise that fact. Xmas was good up here, not even that hot. Cheers.

Micheal is an electrical contractor down in the Lismore area and he is playing around with a large solar array and wan't to go 3 phase etc... I told him that you're the man to talk too. Not sure if he email you or not. Yes the old TAFE system was brilliant. I was a product of that excellent training at Mt. Gravatt TAVE in the 80's.
