I love Xavi Hernandez, man. He came during the darkest time of this club. We were a mid-table team, and he turned it around in 2 years. We won La Liga once and finished second once. He took us to the Quarter Finals of the Champions League for the first time in 4 years. He did this all while having a squad filled with inexperienced youngsters and filled with injuries. i am seeing a lot of unnecessary hate for president laporta which is unjustified. point 1. messi was already leaving because of bartomeu's actions which couldn't be changed by anyone and bringing messi back was an equally tough challenge as messi didnt want many players to leave the club because of him. point 2. laporta trusted xavi and have him a lot of time and we saw the good and bad aspects of it and when xavi asked to leave, many of the board meembers pressurized him to urge xavi to stay even though there were issues, ultimately president laporta did the best thing possible by contracting flick which is good for us and our future. we are forgetting that some of our club's best moments came in president laporta's previous term (before the 2022 one) so we have to respect him!
