I love watching your tbr videos every month! My tiny human loves to watch, too! She has a suggestion for you. She thinks you need to come up with a reward system for yourself. Every book you read gets 1 point, every book from your tbr gets 2 points. Then so many points let's you spin a new wheel at the end with reward prompts, such as swap a book from the tbr for a mood read, remove one from the tbr, and other rewards you choose. Optional to spin if you want to at the end as another wheel. She says you deserve rewards wheel too! ❤

Great video as always ❤ Sydney Shields definitely counts for the shield prompt. Another way you could do that emoji could be if a character is being protected/needs protection e.g., someone who has to dress up in disguise or someone who is homing another in secret; they are shielding/being shielded from danger xx

For the genre spin, I would recommend bending the prompt and get a mystery/fantasy for example… there’s quite a few genre blends that could then work for you if you’re more in a fantasy mood? Also, for Kreacher and book with a grumpy character, my first thought was Quicksilver… I saw it in you KU list, and the main love interest is the definition of grumpy 😂

​@sheisbookedandbusy it reads really young for an adult fantasy. She writes it like a period piece but doesn't write it with the mores that we know of that day and age. It was kind of boring but I tried to push through. Got to the last 20 pages and skipped to the end, and thought "oh wow, it ended just like I thought." It's going on my least favorite of the year list. Love the Fairyloot edition though and I'm happy to display it 😊.
