Beautiful beautiful video. Very important teaching we often neglect. We focus on "pray without ceasing" and hear about this too much from all the saints. But St Paul's writings are filled with injunctions to always give thanks and he does it often in the beginning of his epistles, giving thanks for how the city accepted the gospel zealously initially or still accepts it. He says "In everything give thanks" and "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, WITH THANKSGIVING, let your requests be known to God"

I don't know much, new to this faith and all, but at 48yo I know this, it's an absolute privilege, an honour, a pure mercy to be invited into Christ's Orthodox way. It's definitely not because I'm awesome, I'm a rebellious dog which isn't worth the cost of a bullet to turn me to fertiliser. And yet as a failed Protestant, the Lord said, "Here I am, come." Not literally, I'm unworthy of His voice, more like showed me, showed me my error, and the only way out is this way (the Orthodox way). I don't understand a word but I have to go to church, everywhere and everything else is darkness. So yeah, I don't think it's a privilege, I know it's a privilege, and I can't walk it without His church, without His Saints, without Him. I'm at His mercy, Lord have mercy on me a sinner. Thank you for this upload, for this channel, another light in a place of darkness. God bless.

And it's OK to also thank Him for His blessings to your friends, family, favorite saints, and even the earth, the sun, and the solar system. Once both He and you know that you sincerely appreciate His past blessings, He will be in a position to do more for you.
