The AI rubberbanding on restarts used to be in the pre 2022 game too, I suspect it's to avoid the NR2003 default track restarts where the AI either have way more or way less speed off the line compared to you, then it just bugs out if you intentionally stall lol

At the 8:50 mark that wasn’t rubber banding. That has always been in the game and happens when a car is going slower than normal speed the AI slow down bc they think there’s a wreck or something. But I’ve experienced it numerous times in Heats 2,3,4 and also 5

Alanta was always a speed based track. The only difference between here and Daytona/Talladega is if you lose the draft, you won't fall back. Funny thing with the next race, I would love it if cup series came to mid-ohio. It would make that the closest cup race to me instead of Michigan.

Can you do a 100% race at this track?

50% with 3x wear for cup, and 100% 3x wear for xfinity and trucks ive found to be the most realistic setting for a race, the cup races get pretty unrealistic on certain tracks at 100% because of the wear just doesn’t match even at a 2x wear you will either be way too far ahead of the field or struggling every 15 laps with wear

They waited for you because of the Tighter Field setting at the beginning of Stage 2. Also, people are only willing to partner up with the draft if they're either a backmarker, or you have a Friendly relation with them.

i have a theory that atlanta is when your far from the cars they think your in first and race normal but when your close to them they do that slow down thing thinking your lapped

The next gen update for me bricked the game on xbox. Cant play the game now. So frustrating

I play on Xbox and I found out how to fix it a while back. You have to delete your local save AND the cloud save because the update corrupted your saves. So go to manage game, and delete your save, back out, then go back in to manage game and delete the cloud save. If you do it correctly, It will delete EVERYTHING from the game, but it will fix the problem and the game will be playable again. If this doesn't work for you, then you did it wrong!

I think in general the whole updated is mest up, in other tracks 5th gear dont work correctly. In some tracks (Watkins Glen, Charlotte Roval, etc.) its just weird that your rolling at high oil temp if running manual shift and I asure I am doing perfect shifting but MSG f'ed that up. And Indy Roval is bad Though the cars is nice, cool and kinda fun, the update is just bad
