For the new moms: it's completely normal for babies to wake up at night. If it's not one thing it's the other. Teething, separation anxiety, cramps, unable to roll back /lie down, change in daytime naps, too much stimulation during daytime etc etc. Sleeptraining, learning them to selfsoothe takes time and it's completely normal if a child doesn't learn to sleep through the entire night until they are well in their toddler stage. So while it can be nice to strive to get them to sleep through the night, it is not the norm. Make sure you have a clear rhythm every day and night, attend to their needs at night without any arousal, if possible join their daytime naps. Also, adults need 7 to 9 hrs of sleep, so a baby sleeping for 6-7 hours should give you enough time to feel relatively rested. But that might mean changing your schedule and going to bed a lot earlier.

Oh yes the first week of taking cara class is so difficult! But once the 14days passed, our LO (at the time was 6mo) able to sleep through the night. She's now 10 months and teething but still able to sleep 11-12hours at night. The thing is however good she is able to sleep through the night, each time when she woke up crying, it still broke our hearts but we stayed consistent so she could get her sleep. It's so tough the first two weeks Judy! But keep it up. Hopefully you and Benji will see positive results soon.
