This is dedicated to those of you looking to step up your thanksgiving cocktail game.
We have 2 cocktails you gotta try! I assure you that by the time you they these cocktails down and out, you won't have to worry about ignoring all the family members you originally planned to because they will be drunk enough to be bearable. Kidding of course!
All jokes aside, these 2 cocktails are inspired by the warm cozy feeling that the holidays give me and some interesting approaches to a few modern classics.
The first cocktail pays homage to the feeling of chilly weather and a sense of a changing season. I always made smores when I was a kid during the holidays with my family and friends.
Now since I have aged a bit (don't ask), I’d prefer bourbon. So, I combined both and give you my riff on a S'mores Old Fashioned.
The second cocktail is pound for pound my favorite thing to drink during the holidays. It's a play on a spike warm Apple Cider. Anytime you give me an opportunity to use mulling spices and brandy I am GOING to do it. Its warm, its boozy and its all things Autumn!
Cheers!
