I think the muffin tin is great to send folks home with leftovers to be warmed up in the air fryer.🥰

Yeah, that was really clever, and definitely beats a plate over another plate, secured shut with plastic wrap 😅

For the love of all that’s holy, if you put a bottled drink in the freezer to chill it SET. A. TIMER. Otherwise you’ll spend Thanksgiving cleaning frozen drink from inside your freezer. Ask me how I know.

Was that the freezer,or a fridge?

@ freezer. She recommended wrapping the bottle in a wet cloth and putting it in the freezer to chill it quickly. If you forget it and leave it in the freezer it will explode, spewing the liquid all over the freezer and its contents.

Why? The dishwasher is self cleaning. If you have a bunch of potatoes to do this is a handy way of doing it. People have wrapped a salmon in foil and put it in the dishwasher. There are special racks you can get to hold different kinds of food. It’s a brilliant way to make life simpler. Join us. 💙

@@JeepGurlAZ I have done this once, when I needed a LOT of spuds for a gathering. Later I read that the dishwasher is never detergent free, even if you don't put any in for this feat; and that wouldn't be a healthy thing to do... I forgot the details, but it was because of the detergent residue that this was not thought to be a good idea. 🤷 Comment section wisdom 😉; I didn't attempt to fact check yet (haven't needed that many potatoes since). 🤷

@ Perhaps. But if you knew you were going to do this run a bottle of sanitizer with no dishes in it then try this. I wouldn’t want any leftover germies in my food either.

Great tips, but I like to use crust covers on my pies… so easy and work great! I have some old metal ones that I’ve had for years, but recently got some silicone ones that are adjustable. They are definitely worth the small cost!😉

😮 I love the muffin tin hack - I hate my food touching. What a brilliant idea 🎉

The world is so full of different people! I saw the muffin tin idea and thought "what a way to completely ruin and cheapen the presentation of a meal that one spend SO many hours slaving away in the kitchen to make! 😮😢. Glad that you found it usefull😊😊 if food touching is an issue then it's a great idea! I personally think it looks sad... something like a frozen meal out of the supermarket.😢

Some good ideas. Muffin tin seems good until you realize you can't put it in the microwave to reheat. Just NO to potatoes in the dishwasher 🤢

Three ears of corn for Thanksgiving? It would take all day to make enough corn for a decent sized gathering in a flat pan like that. And the muffin pan serving thing would only work for toddlers or people taking Ozempic. Wait, it might actually work for me now that I’m taking it. 😂

i keep my corn in the husk, microwave it for about 3-4mins, peel back, twist it off & roll it in a plate of butter, salt & pepper (i typically do this one at a time, as i’m just feeding myself) may need more time if it’s multiple!

Why are the potatoes going in a dishwasher?
@robri2016Ай бұрын
I thought that was rather questionable.
@thekingsdaughter423328 күн бұрын
To clean them before making baked potatoes. When you have a lot of them to scrub. I have read warnings not to do it because of detergent residue even if you don't add any. Too bad, I can see the use for big gatherings. 🤷
